"Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" alum Teddi Mellencamp has been updating her fans on social media since being diagnosed with stage 2 melanoma a few months ago. Her most recent update gives "happy" news regarding her pathology and genetic testing results.

In her most recent Instagram update post, Mellencamp shares the results of her pathology and genetic testing and explains what's next. "Finally here with another melanoma update, and it's one I'm happy to share," she started her caption. "Pathology is back - the surgeries were successful and the margins are clear. I also got genetic testing results and there are no mutations we need to worry about."

The reality star shares her story with fans in the hopes that others will be proactive in their health and get checked, so she threw in a message about mammograms in the middle of her update. "And I just had a healthy mammogram (please don't forgo these either, ladies)," she wrote.

Her update continued by announcing, "So I say peace out to 11 melanomas and 3 lymph nodes - I gladly hardly knew ya - and hello to a new sense of peace." She also wanted to remind people that things can change quickly and you need to stay on top of preventative care.

"It's been eye-opening how quickly things can change and it's a lesson I will never forget, nor quit speaking up about. I want nothing more than for all of you to be proactive so you do not have to experience this. Let my scars be your inspiration to get preventative care," she explained.

Mellencamp closed out her update by explaining her next steps and showing gratitude for all those who have been supporting her on this journey. "I will now continue to get checked every 4-6 weeks, as my doc says this may be a record number in one area. You guys know I'm competitive but this is one record I'm not looking to break," she wrote. "As always, thanks for all the love, support and well-wishes. I feel very blessed and grateful for it all."

The "Two T's in a Pod" podcast host has many people watching her journey and supporting her every step of the way. Many have dropped into the comment sections of her updates to send her messages of love and support.

"Real Housewives of Orange County" alum Meghan King wrote, "Omg TM. This is insane. So glad you’re ok now. What a sh-- show." Television personality and reality star Justin Sylvester said, "Needed that news to end the year on a high note!"

The comment section was filled with sea of praying hands emojis and red hearts. Motivational speaker and author, Chalene Johnson added, "Love that you’re using your platform for this!!! What a gift. Prayers for a speedy recovery and no more bad guys!" Actor Ian Ziering took to the comments to say, "❤️Glad you’re okay."

Teddi Mellencamp Has A Lot Of Support From Her Family

The 41-year-old reality star often thanks her support system in her posts, which includes her husband Edwin Arroyave, their kids, Slate, 10, Cruz, 8, and Dove, 2, and her stepdaughter Isabella, 14. She recently shared a throwback holiday photo of her family on Instagram captioned, "One thing I love is dressing up in matching PJs and forcing the fam to watch a holiday movie."
