Olivia Wilde is fast adapting and loving singlehood!
Just weeks after it was reported that she and Harry Styles were no longer an item after almost two years of dating, the actress decided to remind fans that she is doing absolutely well without a man.
In her first Instagram update post-breakup, Wilde is absolutely glowing and seems to be living her very best life.
Olivia Wilde Shows Her Widest Smile After Harry Styles Breakup
On Sunday, December 4, the "House" actress shared her first Instagram post following the headline-making breakup. Wilde was seen on vacation with her good friend Babs Burchfield. The girlfriends looked like they were having the best time as they lay in a hammock outdoors.
The 38-year-old Hollywood star partially flaunted her slim, toned figure in a bikini while soaking up the sun. She rocked a blue-black bandeau-like bikini top that clung to her chest and teased her cleavage. However, the sight of her slender body wasn't the highlight of the post.
The Independent Spirit Award winner looked extremely happy as she flashed a wide grin for the camera. Wilde was clearly lost in her moment of joy as she laughed out loud with her arms resting on her midriff area. She rocked her face makeup-free while her ginger hair was let loose to flow with the wind.
Burchfield, on the other hand, opted for a green bikini with a stylish beach hat and was also all smiles for the camera as she took the playful selfie. Not one to say much, Wilde simply captioned the post, "Best." The "Tron: Legacy" star limited comments on the post but received love from fans in the over 82,000 likes the post garnered.
However, Wilde was anything but done as she hopped on to her Instagram Story to share a steamy black-and-white photo to show off her full-bikini bod. She donned a one-piece swimsuit with a tiny bottom while turning her back toward the camera. The mother-of-two was like a child again, with her arms in the sky as she took in the sunset.
"Mahalo," the New York native captioned the post. Wilde didn't reveal where she went for vacation, not tagging the gorgeous hot spot.
Wilde And Her Former Boyfriend Harry Styles Have No 'Bad Blood'
It is no surprise that the "Cowboys & Aliens" star seems to be doing exceptionally well following the reported breakup. As covered by The Blast, sources claimed that the breakup between Wilde and the "Watermelon Sugar" singer came with no drama.
An insider claimed the exes remained super friendly after their split, as the end of their relationship wasn't a result of one person dumping the other. According to the source, "There is no bad blood between them. Harry didn’t dump Olivia or vice versa. This is the longest relationship Harry’s ever had, so clearly, they have a special bond."
Styles and the actress first sparked dating rumors in January 2021 when they were seen holding hands and getting affectionate at the British singer's manager's wedding. As with most high-profile relationships, their short-lived romance was not void of drama, especially with the press.
As the time they kickstarted their relationship, Wilde was in the middle of a controversial and public split from her partner Jason Sudeikis — which later evolved into a nasty custody battle. There was the issue of Styles' fanbase not liking Wilde and accepting their relationship.
Nevertheless, the pair ignored the distractions and remained focused on their love until things finally came to an end in late November. As for the reason behind their split, a source claims that their busy schedules just couldn't align.
"They’re on a break. It’s impossible to have a relationship when he’s in every continent next year, and Olivia has her job and her kids," the source explained. "This is the right thing for both of them."
A separate source added, "Right now, they have different priorities that are keeping them apart." Currently, the "Harry's House" musician is gearing up for his South American tour, while Wilde is to move to London to work on a documentary.
