In the Instagram reel, Smith is seen sitting on a chair in the middle of a forest, quietly taking in the gorgeous scenery before him during a break from shooting. The "King Richard" star, who is donned in his character's costume and holding an umbrella over his head, began:

"This is my favorite moment on [sic] this movie so far. I love the rain. I love how it makes everything stop," as the camera panned to show viewers the trees in the forest.

After a moment of solitude, Smith continued, "It's beautiful. It's also a moment I want to find for the character. In the middle of all the h*ll, he just finds a moment of beauty of God in nature and realizes that the problem is man. The problem is in the hearts of men and not in God's world. God's world is actually beautiful."

"So many beautiful moments for all of us to embrace and celebrate! Love each one!" Canadian actor Steven Ogg commented in response. English author Jay Shetty supported, "Roger Miller said "some people feel the rain, others just get wet." Love your reflection," and recording artiste Jahzel Dotel chimed, "love how the rain makes everything stop."

One fan had another motive, writing, "Yeah I need to see this movie because even though you enjoying the rain you look like you [sic] been through a lot and pain in your eyes. So I know you played the #+}> out the character. Can't [wait] to see you on the big screen."

In the picture, the 54-year-old was shirtless with one hand raised to showcase the faux blood-coated whip marks on his elbow and parts of his chest and waist.

His afro and goatee added to his personality as an enslaved person, thanks to Judy Murdock, who Smith credited for his body makeup.

His friends did not hesitate in answering his question as Barris commented, "This night was MAGIC, and your movie is truly something that will last forever!" "Emancipation" will showcase Smith in the character of Peter, a man that escaped slavery and went in search of freedom in Louisiana during the American Civil War.
