On Thursday, the mom-of-seven took to Instagram to share a photo of the family sitting together on the couch. Hilaria is trying to comfort her crying child while the rest of the children are eating, looking elsewhere, or distracted. Only their eldest daughter, Carmen, is actually looking at the camera, holding her sleeping sister, Ilaria, in her arms. The “30 Rock” actor also seems distracted, glancing at something off-camera.

In the caption, Hilaria wrote, “Happy gratitude day from our epic fail family photo to what is probably yours ✨. Our love and gratitude to all of you for being wonderful forces of light in our lives ✨💛.” In the comments, Alec followed it up with, “Tough crowd…”

However, Emma Bing noted that “Carmen was ready!” while Alec Mapa exclaimed, “HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!” Other fans supported the family despite Hilaria’s self-proclaimed “fail.” One follower wrote, “It's not an epic fail. It is real life. It is natural. It is not fake nor posed. It's authentic. The best. Happy Gratitude Day to you, too.” Another fan agreed, adding, “Grateful for your authenticity and light always 🤍.”

Many celebrities made an appearance at the annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade to either perform or share how they were going to celebrate their Thanksgiving. Al Roker has been hosting the parade for the past 27 years; unfortunately, he had to miss out this year after being hospitalized for blood clots.

Although he wasn’t able to host the parade with Savannah Guthrie and Hota Kotb, Al still managed to share a photo of him with his two NBC correspondents on Instagram.

"Back home in time to catch a little bit of the #macysthanksgivingdayparade Missing being next to @savannahguthrie and @hodakotb," he captioned the snap.

Dwayne Johnson Is Thinking About Those Who Can't Come Home For The Holidays This Thanksgiving

In a video posted to Instagram, “Black Adam” actor Dwayne Johnson didn’t post the usual epic Thanksgiving feast that he usually does. Instead, he shared a video from inside his gym, better known as the Iron Paradise.

“Makin’ a little pre-Thanksgiving dinner noise 'clanging & banging' in the ol’ Iron Paradise,” he wrote in the caption. “Shout to all our US MILITARY girls and boys stationed around the world and not able to get home this Thanksgiving. Grateful to the bone for you and your service. Thinking about you.

Love you. Get home soon and stay strong.”

Some families were also missing some family members. Oprah Winfrey posted a touching video of everyone singing around the table. In the caption, she explained, “My daughter-girl @thando_d is working away and couldn’t make Thanksgiving this year, so she sent me this beautiful song by @cecewinans titled 'Goodness of God.'”

"It was such a blessing in my life that we tried something a little different at my table and instead of saying a blessing before the food, we sang out loud," she continued. "Happy Thanksgiving from my family to yours.”
