New 'RHONY' Cast Member Is Already Bailing Over Social Media Hate

Not everyone can or wants to hack it on a Bravo reality show. Lizzy Savetsky is one of those people. She is saying bye before the show has even finished filming.

The matchmaker shared an intimate post with her fans that the decision is final and she will no longer be filming the rest of the season. “I will not be continuing on the Real Housewives of NYC,” she beings her post, over a serious black background.

“As a proud orthodox Jewish woman, I thought participating in this series would be a great chance to represent people like me and share my experience,” she admits but quickly reveals she was wrong.

“Unfortunately, from the time of my announcement in the cast, I was on the receiving end of a torrent of antisemitic attacks. As this continued, I realized that this path was no longer right for me and my family.”

She ends her message with, “I'm looking forward to my next chapter. Stay tuned and thank you for your support! All my love,” with a red heart emoji.

The new or is it former reality star since announcing her new gig has used her platform to draw attention to all the anti-semitism that is currently taking place, most notably she commented via video on Kanye West’s attack on Jewish people.

She immediately received hate on posts that had nothing to do with the mom of three’s comments on West and Anti-Semitism. “I continue to receive shockingly hateful, even threatening comments in support of his antisemitic message,” she writes.

“My children’s great grandmother didn’t survive Auschwitz so we could sit idly by as people threaten our existence as a people. We have to speak up! I take these threats very seriously and you should too.”

Savetsky is also being slammed specifically on her views “for being pro-Israel,” claims a source to PageSix.

When contacted, Bravo showed 100% support for the proud orthodox Jewish woman and spoke with PageSix about her decision to leave.

“After thoughtful consideration and discussion with Lizzy, we have reached the mutual conclusion that Lizzy will not be a cast member on ‘RHONY.'” Unfortunately, if fans now like Savetsky we won’t get to see more of her. Or will Bravo decide to cut her scenes? They are still in the middle of filming after all.

The comments are interesting, to say the least. Many are choosing to support Savetsky, which is great but, they seem to be throwing shade at Bravo’s way.

“When you announced you were going on the show I thought to myself this is not a good thing..I know your intentions were good but this was a train wreck waiting to happen..thank god you moved on from this toxic nonsense. On to bigger and better ???,” wrote a friend.

Former RHONY cast member Leah McSweeney showed support with a few red heart emojis.

“Wow! Sending you and your beautiful fam love! So sad to hear you were forced into this decision because of threats and not simply because you changed your mind for other reasons. It’s truly heartbreaking that we are living in times like these.”

“Love you Lizzy you are such a star and a beautiful light and representation of our people you don’t need to be on that platform. You shine wherever you are xx love you,” supported another.

It’s sad to see Lizzy being forced out like that but she has to protect her family and her sanity. Reality TV isn’t for everyone. That being said, so far, assuming no one else will drop out, we still have the other ladies.
