It looks like Paris Hilton is finally ready to open up about her IVF journey only one year after tying the knot with Carter Reum.
The “Sliving” entrepreneur, 41, started dating venture capitalist Carter Reum, 41, in December 2019. The couple became engaged one day before Valentine’s Day on February 13, 2021. They tied the knot later that year on November 11 in a ceremony in Los Angeles.
It's a little over one year since the two became newlyweds, and now that the honeymoon period is over, it looks like the "Confessions of an Heiress" author is ready to start settling down and growing her family.

Many fans expressed support for Paris in the comments of her post, along with their own IVF struggles and success stories. One fan said that they were looking forward to the entrepreneur starting a line of baby clothes in the future! Paris hasn't floated the idea before, but it seems like something she could totally get behind!
The “House of Wax” actress posted a longer message to her Instagram Stories. “I’m getting tons of messages of people asking me about when I’m having a baby,” Paris began. “The truth is my husband and I wanted to enjoy our first year of marriage together as a couple and we [were] always planning on starting our family in 2023.”
“IVF is always a journey for everyone but we’re so fortunate that we have lots of healthy embryos ready and waiting to be part of our Cutesy Crew!” she continued. “As everyone knows, I have an extremely busy work and travel schedule but nothing gets me more excited than becoming a mom in 2023! Thank you for all your kind messages! Love always, P.”
Paris Denies Claims That She Is Struggling To Conceive Her First Baby
Paris’ mother, Kathy Hilton, recently told E! News that her daughter was “trying and trying” and mentioned that it was a “struggle” for Paris to conceive a child. She told the outlet, “It breaks my heart because I know she is trying and trying and I always say, ‘Just relax. So many people, they struggle, and it doesn’t just happen like that.”
TMZ later caught up to Paris to ask her about her mother’s comments. “I don’t know where she got that [idea from],” Paris told the outlet. “It’s never been a struggle at all.” She then added a few more details about her own IVF process. “I have tons of embryos that are waiting,” Paris explained. “We’ve been stocking up on a lot of them.”
When asked if she was struggling emotionally with the process of IVF, Paris was quick to say that she and her mother “don’t talk about that.” She also shared some advice for those ready to have a baby: “My advice is to do IVF, you'll find the right person, but I wouldn't just depend on that. I'm lucky I found my perfect half to do that with.”
If all else fails, Paris was asked if she would ever consider adopting a child. She paused before saying, “I’ll adopt a dog.”
Fortunately, in her conversation with E! News, Kathy Hilton did say that Paris and Carter are “so happy” together and enjoying married life. “They are so happy,” she told the outlet. “They had their one-year anniversary at the carnival and they want to do that annually. They were like two kids; it was really sweet.”
In January, "The Simple Life" star had told E! News’ Daily Pop that she wants “probably two or three” children with her husband. “I would want twins first… or I don’t know, it’s hard to say,” she confessed. However, she added that she “cannot wait” to be a mother, saying that it “is definitely one of my top priorities.”
