Paris Hilton Evokes Wedding Memories With Carter Reum In First Anniversary Posts

Fans of Paris Hilton know that festivities mean a great deal to her, considering the six lavish parties she threw when she turned 21. Thus, it was expected that Hilton would throw an equally over-the-top ceremony when the time for her to walk down the aisle approached. She succeeded with that, and she reminded everyone of the magical moment one year later.

From the caviar stations to the champagne tours and collection of custom-designed gowns, the details of Hilton's three-day wedding to Carter Reum was curated to have guests and onlookers swaying.

Even though the date for the main ceremony fell on a Thursday — November 11, 2021, the entertainer was unbothered, previously highlighting that the date was "special to Carter and I—it represents our love story."

A year later, the date has remained special, as Hilton proved with the multiple social media updates she used to express her excitement. For her first post, the 41-year-old dropped a clip that began with a view of her pressing her phone while reading out some lines. She gushed:

"The best part of life is falling in love and being in love.....it's the most incredible feeling in the world, and I have not felt it in so long…until Carter."

The clip then panned to show her and her venture capitalist venture beau sharing a kiss at the altar. From there, viewers see the happy couple dancing and enjoying each other's company. After noting how their first year of marriage "has been a magical whirlwind," Hilton wrote in the caption:

"No matter how far we travel and no matter where in the world we are, as long as we are together, I'm at home with you. I deeply cherish all of our adventures and memories, and look forward to a lifetime more by your side. Thank you for all of the love, happiness, and endless laughter."

She continued, "You are my rock and I'm so thankful to call you mine. Carter, as my partner in life, number one hype man, and best friend, I love you so incredibly much. Cheers to being your #Wifey for lifey, and to our one-year anniversary together. My 11:11 wishes finally came true with you."

For her second Instagram post, the "Confessions of an Heiress" author uploaded a carousel of images. While some photos featured her in her three outfits, including the custom-made Oscar de la Renta dress, the other slides were snaps with celeb guests.

Hilton was all smiles as she posed with Kim Kardashian, Demi Lovato, Nicole Richie, Diplo, Rich Fresh, and her sister, Nicky Rothschild. The "House of Wax" actress gave her nearly 21 million followers a closer view of her wedding gown and announced a new fragrance in a third Instagram post where she penned:

"With my #OneYearAnniversary this #1111, check out my new wedding scent perfume Love Rush. Spritz, and forever have love on the brains."

Hilton's fourth act gave off '007 & Bond Girl' vibes as she and her husband posed next to a Bentley Mark VI. The first slide showed the in-demand disc jockey and Reum standing on opposite sides of the vehicle with a horse, windows, and home decor behind.

A swipe to the left unveiled a black-and-white pic of Hilton and the M13 Ventures founder looking intensely into each other's eyes. The last slide featured the lovebirds in the car with Reum behind the wheel. Hilton acknowledged that David Yarrow captured the sweet photos.

Shortly after their lavish wedding, Vogue reported that Hilton shed some light on her relationship with Reum. Recalling their history, the 41-year-old businesswoman said:

"Carter and I have been friends for over 15 years. We stayed in each other’s lives over time, and we reconnected at a Thanksgiving get-together in 2019. From that night, I felt the spark, and the rest is history."

The two became engaged when Reum surprised his then-girlfriend with a joint birthday vacation on a private island in February 2021. The father-of-one popped the question during a photoshoot planned by the beach, resulting in other surprises like Hilton's closest family and friends flying out for the unforgettable occasion.

The couple later hosted a joint bachelor and bachelorette party in Las Vegas.
