Adrienne Bailon's son is not even one yet, and he is already making history!

After its long hiatus, the actress is set to premiere as a co-host on E! News. Fans know that she just welcomed a bundle of joy through surrogacy with her husband, Israel Houghton, and she made sure to mark the milestone with his presence.

The singer, who signed a deal with the production to co-host the show in the evenings at eleven-thirty, showed fans that she had no problem continuing her motherly duties to her son Ever James while at work. 

On her Instagram story, the "No More (Baby I'm a Do Right)" singer posted a video where she was cradling and rocking her baby as his head lay on the towel thrown over her shoulder to protect the black oversized suit jacket and pants she was wearing. 

Looking every bit a doting mother, the 39-year-old described herself as obsessed with her baby writing, "@everjames. —he couldn't miss his mami's premiere on @enews! (well, this mami is obsessed with her baby, so here we are, lol)."

The "3LW" girl group alum is undoubtedly grateful for the new opportunity. The Blast shared that after the company tried to explore new horizons by becoming a morning show two years ago, they suddenly had to shut down indefinitely due to the COVID-19 pandemic. 

Despite efforts to continue, they had to adjust like the rest of the world and focused on becoming a web news service. Now with restrictions a little lighter, the production house re-evaluated their show and decided to return with hosts, the former Disney child star and Justin Sylvester.

A very excited Bailon-Houghton shared multiple updates to her followers via her Instagram story, including one where the "All You've Got" actress explained in a calm voice how busy her day had been before expressing her gratitude.

The "The Cheetah Girls: One World" star told fans that she had a full day unveiling her son's nursery during a live video, and then "I had all these messages from people saying 'congratulations' and reposts. And so, I am sitting here just so grateful. Like, next level grateful. I still can't believe God continues to open doors like this for me, and I get to do what I love."

The "I'm in Love with a Church Girl" star noted that working for E! was awesome for the new chapter ending with an affirmative "Let's do it." The "Empire Girls: Julissa and Adrienne" star followed with more screenshots of reposts from loved ones celebrating along with her and a clip from her new job announcing the show's return.

Another one of those reposts was of "Deadline," revealing the details of the pop culture gossip show. According to the publication, the Executive Vice President, NBCUniversal Syndication Studios and E! News, Tracie Wilson, said:

"E! News has a long history of entertainment news excellence, and we are excited to bring the show back and continue its legacy."

She added, "John Redmann and John Pascarella are strategic, respected executive producers with stellar reputations, and Justin and Adrienne are charismatic, seasoned hosts with a genuine interest in pop culture. This is the perfect team to bring a fresh take to this franchise."

Last month, The Blast shared that TV show host cannot get enough of her baby. In an interview, she mentioned a few things she had learned since welcoming Ever James. She admitted:

"I didn't know I could love in this capacity. We planned for this for over six years to have a child, and I just had no idea — as much as I thought I love him even before he was born, he got here, and you're like, 'wow.' It's heart bursting."

She also noted that motherhood made her look at life differently and changed her in many ways. That experience led her to appreciate her mum a lot more because she realized how much her mother loved her after becoming one. 

Bailon proudly declared that she loved her son madly and would do anything for him, including giving up her night's sleep that she used to be a fanatic about.
