Trevor Noah will end his run on "The Daily Show" next month, with December 8 marked as his final sendoff date. The week leading up to his exit will pay homage to Noah's seven-year run on the show, which began in 2015 when he took over from the previous host Jon Stewart.

Comedy Central has not yet announced plans for who will be taking over the show following Noah's exit. The comedic news satire program is slated to return after a holiday break Tuesday, January 17, 2023. Per Comedy Central, "The Emmy-winning franchise will embark on a reinvention as it has done so successfully in the past."

Details on what the reinvention will be and Noah's replacement are still "forthcoming." At the very least, for fans of Noah, it looks like the comedian will be as active as ever following his departure.
