Gisele Bündchen & Jiu-Jitsu Instructor Have A History Together

Gisele Bündchen is getting her groove back.

The former Victoria’s Secret model is making relationship headlines following her divorce from Tom Brady.

Gisele was recently spotted out and about with her son’s jiu-jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente.

We reported on the newly single mother’s outing in Costa Rica with the hunky self-defense instructor. He’s from Miami, Fl.

According to sources close to the supermodel, they are NOT dating, but she is sending a message to her ex-husband.

"It certainly looks like Gisele is showing off — and showing Tom what he’s missing,” a source told Page Six. “I have to think that Gisele is sending Tom a message.”

Brady and Gisele often vacationed with their children in Costa Rica at their home. She got to keep it following their split.

What’s more is that Gisele has known Valente for quite some time and has doted on him in the past.

A little over a year ago, Gisele and Valente did a sexy photoshoot together for Dust Magazine. She talked about her love for jiu-jitsu.

“I have always been a seeker and a curious person who always wants to dive deeper. It’s actually because of my son that I met Joaquim,” she said in the interview. “I have a friend who told me about the Valente brothers and their martial art school, and since I wanted to steer my almost teenage son in the right direction, I thought he might be interested in this.”

She continued, “Initially I wasn’t even considering it for myself, to be honest with you. But when I brought him to the first class and started talking with Joaquim, I realized that it was much more than self-defense and became interested in the philosophy. It felt very much in line with what I believe in and look for in my life and how I have a path to develop and become the best version of myself. It sounded like something I definitely wanted to learn about and then I was hooked.”

Gisele and Brady’s nine-year-old daughter also takes lessons from Valente. She said it makes her little one feel “so empowered.”

The timing of Gisele and Valente’s hangout is very interesting.

There was reportedly no cheating on either side, but those close to Brady and Gisele feel there might be more to the story.

The ex-power couple finalized their divorce on October 28th. They were married for 13 years.

Gisele addressed their divorce in an Instagram Story.

“With much gratitude for our time together, Tom and I have amicably finalized our divorce. My priority has always been and will continue to be our children whom I love with all my heart. We will continue co-parenting to give them the love, care and attention they greatly deserve,” her statement read.

Page Six learned the couple each completed a “Parent Education and Family Stabilization” course before finalizing the end of their marriage.

According to court documents obtained by the outlet, Tom completed the course on October 25th and Gisele completed it the following day on the 26th.

The former Victoria’s Secret model’s certificate noted the course was “required.”

Florida law requires the course for separating or divorcing parents. The course is designed to help educate, train and assist parents in regards to the impact divorce can have on parents and children.

Gisele’s IG statement continued, “The decision to end a marriage is never easy but we have grown apart and while it is, of course, difficult to go through something like this, I feel blessed. For the time we had together and only wish the best for Tom always. I kindly ask that our privacy be respected during this sensitive time.”
