The highly recognized comedian, acclaimed with multiple awards for her laudable entertaining skills, was recently bestowed the honor of hosting the annual Baby2Baby gala. Kaling looked as stunning as ever in a long, exquisite gold and black dress with an open neckline and cup sleeves. She ensured to take some snaps before the event, as seen in two of the pictures she uploaded where she posed in what looked like her closet.

Another snap showed a closer view of the screenwriter with the sky and a roof in the backdrop as she beamed at the camera, raising two fingers like the peace sign. In the concluding slide, she posted a video of the night event's venue displaying a faux grass wall with large block letters close by and spelling out Baby2Baby.

Candidly narrating her experience with the gig, Kaling began her caption: "When my friend @kellysawyer asked me to emcee the annual @baby2baby gala, I was so nervous!" "It's such a huge event." she continued. "And a fancy crowd who turn out for one of the most effective charitable organizations in the country."

The Emmy nominee credited everyone involved in the foundation's success, including the co-CEOs Kelly Sawyer and Norah Weinstein, and announced that the brand made over 12 million dollars.

Afterward, she rounded off her message with a shout-out to Kim, who donated a whopping million dollars, adding, "That b**ch can do anything! A lovely night 10/10 no notes." Numerous commenters took no time in reacting to and remarking on the update, including the charitable organization Bay2Baby, who called Kaling the "best host & angel ever!"

The 2022 Gala, held at West Hollywood, was clearly a night to remember, with several honorable women dressed in chic pink, including the dashing SKIMS owner.

Donning a cutout dress by Balenciaga while strutting down the carpet, Kim no doubt turned heads even as she told ET how delighted she was to be involved in the ceremony. She was not alone on the occasion where she was presented with the highest accolade but was supported by her mom Kris Jenner and half-sister Kylie Jenner.

For the "Kardashian" star's philanthropic gesture to the foundation, she was bestowed with the Giving Tree Award by filmmaker and fellow humanitarian Tyler Perry. It is worth knowing that the annual medal is given to women who have shown dedication to giving back to children in need worldwide. Moreover, Kim has been an active advocate of the Baby2Baby foundation for a decade.

Giving the most beautiful speech while accepting the award, the 42-year-old spoke of how advocating for justice is a "deep passion" that ultimately boiled down to "what is fair, what is right, and what leads our world better." And before concluding her lengthy declaration, she vowed to keep using her voice and resources to help the world, children, and of course, Baby2Baby.

The "Why Not Me?" Author Commends Anne Hathaway For Classy Composure In Awkward Interview

Kaling never shies away from publicly applauding those in Hollywood she deems laudable. One such person is the movie star Anne Hathaway whom the 43-year-old has adored for about a decade.

The Blast reported that while recalling an incident that contributed to her love for Hathaway back in October, Kaling noted that the "Les Miserables" actress had been "objectified regular" since she was a teenager.

Speaking of the incident, Hathaway watched a photographer in 2012 take a picture up her skirt while walking a red carpet. This became a subject the following day on the "Today" show, where the then-host Matt Lauer could not stop talking to the guest actress about the situation and her private area.

Hathaway was composed throughout the awkward interview and slammed the host by gracefully expressing disgust with people normalizing taking pictures of others in a vulnerable moment without deleting them.

Kaling's favorite part of the interview was when the guest star made a retorting remark about society commodifying the "sexuality of unwilling participants" before turning the attention back to promoting her movie, leaving Lauer looking silly.
