Tia Mowry is choosing to remain graceful towards the father of her kids.
The "Twitches" star, who called it quits with husband Cory Hardrict after fourteen years of marriage, decided to 'go high' when she celebrated the "American Sniper" actor on his birthday with a short but sweet message.
Tia Mowry Thanks Ex-Husband Cory Hardrict In A Birthday Message
The "Instant Mom" star remains amicable with her estranged husband as she wished him a "happy birthday" as he turned 43. On her Instagram story, she posted a picture of the "All American: Homecoming" star standing with their two children, Cree, 11, and Cairo, 4, in front of a 'merry-go-round' ride.
Dressed in a pink shirt and shorts, white socks, and tennis shoes, he stood close to his kids in the cute image. Cree wore a white shirt over light blue shorts with tie-dye socks and white sneakers as he placed a white bucket cap on his curly hair. Hardrict put a hand on his daughter, who looked so cute in a pink long-sleeved blouse over long pants paired with white sneakers.
Noticeably absent in the picture, the actress kept it all about the kids as she captioned the post, "Happy Birthday @coryhardrict. Thank you for being the best father to our beautiful kids." After that, the "Smart Guy" guest star reposted the picture with a giant heart emoji placed at the bottom.
After announcing their divorce in October, which the "Seventeen Again" actress cited was due to irreconcilable differences, rumors about the reason for their separation began to circulate. The Blast reported that one of those speculations was that the "Never Been Kissed" actor cheated on the 44-year-old while they were married.
Hardrict posted a picture on Instagram promoting the show he is currently starring in. Dressed in a wine-colored button shirt and a baseball face cap, he sat in a chair and stared intensely at the baseball he tossed up with his hand. The caption read, "In One-week @cwallamericanhc on @thecw Season βπΎππ#allamericanhomecoming#Coach#Blessed#God#hbcu."
Most followers completely ignored what he was promoting, choosing instead to ask questions about the news of their break up or dropping opinions. Some of the comments included, "What did you do!," "You make Hollyweird get to you now you're losing your wife. Smh π€¦πΏββ," "I'm praying for your marriage," amongst others.
One fan outrightly discouraged him from leaving his home by writing, "Fix it, Cory. The dating world is not it."
The particular comment he addressed was reposted on Twitter, where a fan called out the "Creature Unknown" guest star saying that "he cheated on her" to which he vehemently responded with "Lies!"
"Family Reunion" Star Shares Details On Routine Amid New Chapter
Amid negotiating her new normal as a single mom, The Blast reported that Mowry showed precisely how she starts her days since the divorce. Taking to her Instagram page, the mother-of-two dropped a reel of her morning routine, which began with getting out of her big bed and picking an affirmation card.
With singer Tems' "Free mind" playing in the background of the video, the fresh-faced beauty stepped into her shower to wash her hair and shave her legs. She stepped out and entered her massive walk-in closet to change into an orange sweatsuit.
After styling her hair into a simple ponytail, the "Baggage Claim" actress made a cup of tea and took it to the poolside area to sit and write in the book with her. The video got cuter as her 4-year-old baby girl appeared to peck her mother on the lips as Mowry mouthed the words "I love you" to her.
The clip ended with the "Sister, Sister" star smiling at the camera as she took a sip of her tea. "With new chapters comes anxiety, uncertainty, and fear. Having a routine helps me clear my mind and hit the reset button," the caption began.
"The Hot Chick" guest star explained that her morning routine was not supposed to be perfect, but it was about finding new practices that would help remind her to pour into herself as she figured out her new reality.
"The Mistle-Tones" star concluded with, "When I can savor a slow start, it's easier for me to practice my daily gratitudes, be more productive and focused, and thus, be the better version of myself. ππ½β€οΈ #SelfCareIsntSelfish."
