Mandy Moore's Son Makes A Splash In Adorable IG Post!

Mandy Moore's one-year-old son is exploring and appreciating Mother Nature one (puddle) step at a time!

The "This Is Us" alumna hopped on to Instagram on Wednesday to preserve an adorable video of her mini-me toddling around in a puddle while rocking an adorable pair of rain boots.

Gus, whose father is Dawes frontman Taylor Goldsmith, became a big brother last month after brother Oscar 'Ozzie' Bennett came onto the scene!

Moore took a bit of solo time with her firstborn following a rare rainy day in California, revealing her little one had some fun figuring out an incredibly fun second ability for his new kicks!

Big brother Gus also received lots of attention on Instagram following his little brother's arrival!

Moore posted an adorable photo of Goldsmith showing Ozzie to his older brother on Instagram two weeks ago, and let her followers know Gus is warming up to the role just as she had hoped.

"Gus is gonna be the BEST big brother," Moore had written in a post earlier this summer, announcing their family's big news!

Moore took the time to prepare her kiddo for his entry into big brotherhood. She candidly took her followers along for the journey, and also discussed Gus' understanding of his mama's pregnancy with People magazine.

In a snuggly snapshot Moore posted on October 12th, she gave some insight into her hopes for Gus ahead of his little brother's arrival.

"As we play the patient waiting game, I'll take all of the sweetest snuggles with the best guy I know," Moore wrote. "He's still too young to understand the concept of baby brother but intuitively I think he knows there's change in the air and he's going to be the best big brother ever."

Moore revealed she was feeling a little grateful for Gus' current POV and understanding of their new bundle of joy.

"I say baby brother all of the time and point to my stomach, and he'll say 'baby brother,' but he has no idea what's going on. His level of awareness of the world is just starting to kick in which maybe is for the best because we won't have to deal with the inate jealously that sometimes comes along with bringing a new sibling into the world," the new mom of two explained. Moore may have her hands full with her new son, but Ozzie's arrival hasn't stopped her from spending some quality time and capturing some precious moments with Gus!

The "Candy" singer (who also released new music earlier in 2022!) posted a video of Gus exploring one of mother nature's most underrated perks on Instagram on Wednesday.

The tot can be seen splashing around in a teeny puddle in the video, which his mother captioned, "Gus learning what rainboots are for following our one day of weather in LA."

Gus' curiosity certainly inspires many moments of sunshine!
