Video Of Shirtless Kirk Cousins Goes Viral After Vikings' Win

Kirk Cousins led the Minnesota Vikings to victory in yesterday's game against the Washington Commanders.

Washington led 17-7 with 14:14 remaining in the game, but ultimately, the Vikings beat Taylor Heinicke and the Commanders 20-17, and the NFL quarterback wasted no time in celebrating.

Kirk Cousins is a down-to-Earth, humble, respectful guy. In fact, many of his teammates and coaching staff have said they have never heard the NFL star quarterback curse.

Additionally, Cousins had apparently never wore a chain before -- that is until the team’s win over the New Orleans Saints in Week 4 when Cousins wore teammate Christian Darrisaw’s chain on the flight back home. "I had never actually put a chain on, so that was my first experience of what that feels like, "Cousin revealed. "Honestly, it was very empowering. It felt pretty good to have that chain on.”

According to Fox’s Kristina Pink, it became a superstition for Cousins. He went on to do it again after the team's Week 6 win in Miami, having even more teammates join in on placing chains on the quarterback.

Well, this happened once again after the Vikings win over the Commanders. A video of Cousins was uploaded to social media, showing the quarterback with no shirt on, and wearing all of his teammates' chains.

Fans are getting a kick out of the video as one fan replied, "Kirk is like a dad who goes back to college and gets invited to a frat party ?."

Another user Tweeted, "That's why Kirk is winning. He's all in with his teammates. Dude is having fun. I like seeing this energy."

One Twitter user chimed in with, "Who gave Kirk those big ass chains ?."

Minnesota Vikings head coach Kevin O'Connell spoke out after the win yesterday, telling his team " "If you want to talk about being at your best when it's required, the reason why we're 7-1, the reason why our football team is at its best when it's required, is our quarterback."

He continued praising Kirk Cousins, saying, "This guy came back to a familiar place for him, got knocked out for a play, comes back in and leads us to a victory."

"For your quarterback to stand in there and be at his best when we really need him to be, I don’t think that is a coincidence when you talk about us being able to win in the fourth quarter," O'Connell continued to say after the game.

Cousins also spoke after the NFL game, inspiring his team to keep going. "Today was another example of how we've been winning all year, man," he said in the locker room to his teammates. "This team is uncommon, and we play as a team. We win as a team. No individuals. I love this team, man, let's keep doing it in all three phases."

Next week, Kirk Cousins and the Minnesota Vikings will take on Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills in New York.
