Jessie James Decker Says Goodbye To ‘Dancing With the Stars’
Jessie James Decker was one of the contestants competing for the Mirror Ball trophy on this season of “Dancing With the Stars.” Unfortunately, the country singer and mom of three had to say goodbye to the competition a few weeks ago as she was eliminated.
The 34-year-old country music singer was eliminated during October 24’s Michael Bublé Night of “Dancing With the Stars.” Once the judges made their decision, Decker expressed her gratitude for the opportunity. “This is one of the scariest things I’ve ever done. It was emotional. It was challenging. It was all the above, but I’m so grateful for this experience,” she said.
“I always like to look on the bright side and the bright side is I get to take my kids trick or treating on Monday,” she continued.
After the show came to an end, Decker took to social media to post an emotional goodbye to the show, and to her dance partner, Alan Bersten.
“If you would have told me September 2nd when I was asked to do this show that I would have made it this far I would have said… uhhh no way!,” she began. “This has tested me and challenged me in a diff way than anything in my career and I am SO proud that I stepped out of my comfort zone and did something that scared the shit out of me! But more than anything…. I met @alanbersten 💕❤️ who I will miss most of all.”
She continued, “He is my family now and we all love him with all our hearts. He believed in me, pushed me when I felt I wasn’t good enough and made me feel like I could get out there shine even when I didn’t believe in myself. Thank you Alan❤️ I love you so much and I am proud of what we did together!!!! I will see you soon and thanks to everyone who voted for us❤️ To the amazing DWTS team, and my fellow cast mates, we will be friends forever❤️❤️💕”
Decker ended by saying she is looking forward to spending time with her family again. “But now it’s time to get back home to Tennessee to be with my babies and my love Eric. They sure did miss their mama❤️ ✈️✨❤️🙏,” she wrote.
