Unfortunately, the country singer and mom of three had to say goodbye to the competition last night as she was eliminated.
Jessie James Decker Says Goodbye In Emotional Instagram Post
The 34-year-old country music singer was eliminated during last night’s Michael Bublé Night of “Dancing With the Stars.” Once the judges made their decision, Decker expressed her gratitude for the opportunity. “This is one of the scariest things I’ve ever done. It was emotional. It was challenging. It was all the above, but I’m so grateful for this experience,” she said.
“I always like to look on the bright side and the bright side is I get to take my kids trick or treating on Monday,” she continued.
“If you would have told me September 2nd when I was asked to do this show that I would have made it this far I would have said… uhhh no way!,” she began. “This has tested me and challenged me in a diff way than anything in my career and I am SO proud that I stepped out of my comfort zone and did something that scared the shit out of me! But more than anything…. I met @alanbersten 💕❤️ who I will miss most of all.”
She continued, “He is my family now and we all love him with all our hearts. He believed in me, pushed me when I felt I wasn’t good enough and made me feel like I could get out there shine even when I didn’t believe in myself. Thank you Alan❤️ I love you so much and I am proud of what we did together!!!! I will see you soon and thanks to everyone who voted for us❤️ To the amazing DWTS team, and my fellow cast mates, we will be friends forever❤️❤️💕”
Decker ended by saying she is looking forward to spending time with her family again. “But now it’s time to get back home to Tennessee to be with my babies and my love Eric. They sure did miss their mama❤️ ✈️✨❤️🙏,” she wrote.
Jessie James Decker Admits She Lost Sleep Over ‘Dancing With the Stars’
The 34-year-old singer shared a video a few weeks ago with her fans, expressing how “anxious” she was over her “Most Memorable Year” dance.
“Good morning you guys,” Decker began her Instagram Story. “[I] slept pretty good last night, but every single night, like the night before a show I always kind of toss and turn just because I’m nervous.”
Decker continued to explain, “I get so nervous, and I get anxious, and I have butterflies, and I’m like reviewing the dances in my head over and over again — like I literally play them in my head from top to bottom.”
“Dancing With the Stars” airs every Monday night at 8 PM ET on Disney+.
