Chad Michael Murray may be a quintessential 2000's heartthrob, but the actor also continues to warm hearts to this day!

The "Freaky Friday" and "One Tree Hill" star recently took some time out of his busy schedule and spread some cheer to two young fans who have had a difficult year.

Murray, 41, stopped by the office of Hope Rises Together, a Buffalo New York-based volunteer organization that aims to spread goodness around their local community and beyond, and met siblings Elliye and Miles. The trio spent some time hugging it out, and the sweet moment was captured on Hope Rises' Instagram account!

What Has Chad Michael Murray Been Up To This Year?

Chad Michael Murray is all about experiencing and spreading positivity this year.

Murray, who played one of the Lucas brothers on "One Tree Hill," has long been vocal in expressing his desire to potentially revisit the beloved town of Tree Hill, North Carolina, through a potential reboot of the series, which originally aired from 2004 until 2012.

The Blast shared snippets of Murray's excitement earlier this year.

According to our report, Murray has put a lot of thought into the possibility of a "One Tree Hill" reboot and where he thinks the iconic group of beloved characters would be today!

"I have an idea that's been bouncing around in my head to do a new generation of this show, dealing with today's issue," Murray told E! News, "There's just so many things now that are so very different from than it was back in the early aughts. So, you can do issues that are relating to children and kids that [they] are dealing with in high school today," he said. (per The Blast)

He also told People magazine "there is always talk" about a reboot getting off the ground, but "everyone's got hands in so many other things," (via E!) at the present moment, keeping any concrete plans from being made or going forward.

Murray Makes These Sweet Siblings' Day During A Visit To Hope Rises!

While Murray may not be stepping back onto a basketball court to play Lucas Scott any time soon in the close-knit community of 'Tree Hill', he's occupying his time serving and spending time in communities off-camera!

Yesterday, Hope Rises posted an adorable snapshot of Murray hugging sibling duo Elliye and Miles on Instagram. The non-profit organization gave some insight into Elliye and Miles' backstory in the photo's caption.

"Remember our sweet friends, Elliye and Miles? Elliye saved her brother from a house fire earlier this year- each suffering horrific burns..." the post reads.

Murray was "so thrilled" to meet the brother-and-sister duo, his excitement visibly radiating in the photo!

"@chadmichaelmurray was so thrilled to meet them- of course he was, these tiny heroes are the heroes of #Buffalo," the caption continues.

Hope Rises' mission is to highlight pockets of positivity in the world, bringing attention to the countless uplifting stories of hope happening every day!

According to their website, Hope Rises explains they "do not just tell the good news- we make good news happen." They also inspire to "ignite hope through love and goodwill across the globe!"
