There seemingly hasn't been a time since "One Tree Hill" aired its ninth and final season a whole decade ago where buzz wasn't being generated about the beloved dramedy!

The coming-of-age series about a group of teens from a fictitious town in North Carolina made audiences

laugh, cry, and gasp, (can we talk about two of the show's central characters getting married in HIGH SCHOOL, or...) with its gripping storylines.

"One Tree Hill's" mark wasn't only left on its devoted fanbase!

The actors and actresses who made the show so special have long cherished its importance in pop culture and its power in helping define a certain era of 'must see' TV for teens.

The ladies of 'Tree Hill' showed the series a humongous amount of love- arguably a bigger amount than

the size of the heart Dan Scott was supposed to receive but was later seized and eaten by a dog- earlier this year with the launch of a podcast called "Drama Queens."

The "Drama Queens" podcast more than proves there is still interest in revisiting the iconic show and adding on to its legacy.

What would be a more perfect way to continue following our favorite 'Tree Hill' residents and see what they're up to now, (can you believe little Jamie Scott would be in his teens?!), than a reboot?

Reboots may be extremely common these days but that doesn't seem to deter Chad Michael Murray!

Murray made up one half of the Scott brothers, playing Lucas from the series' launch in 2004 until its sixth season. James Lafferty would continue to play Nathan Scott until the series ended.

The subject of a potential future for the beloved characters came up during a recent radio interview with Murray.

According to People, Murray told WNYW, "You know, I genuinely have no idea" in response to whether there are any plans of exploring a reboot.

"There's always talk," he said. "I will say that. There's always chatter."

What Could A 'OTH' Reboot Look Like?

Earlier last year Murray gave fans a glimpse of how seriously he has contemplated the idea of exploring the lives of our fave 'Tree Hill' gang.

He revealed to E! he and his fellow castmates "get asked" about the livelihood of an 'OTH' reboot "all of the time."

He also shared he had been thinking about where he could see a potential reboot going.

"I have an idea that's been bouncing around in my head to do a new generation of this show, dealing with today's issue," he began.

"There's just so many things now that are so very different than it was back in the early aughts. So, you can do issues that are relating to children and kids that [they] are dealing in high school today," he went on to note.

Time will tell whether "One Tree Hill" will be brought back to life or not, and it's also a vital part of making this teen dream a reality.

"Everyone's got hands in so many other things," Murray said in reference to the idea being seriously explored.

With a little cajoling, though, Murray believes a reboot could eventually see the light of day.

A "right team" for the project is a key element for its future success in Murray's mind.

Hopefully the 'right team' will have Gavin DeGraw on board for a new rendition of the show's legendary theme song!
