Tom Brady Releases Statement After Filing For Divorce From Gisele Bündchen!

News has just broke that after 13 years of marriage, Brazilian fashion model Gisele Bündchen and Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady are officially filing for divorce.

Now, the 45-year-old NFL star is breaking his silence.

Tom Brady has taken to Instagram to release a statement on his divorce from his wife of 13 years. 

"In recent days, my wife and I finalized our divorce from one another after 13 years of marriage. We arrived at this decision amicably and with gratitude for the time we spent together. We are blessed with beautiful and wonderful children who will continue to be the center of our world in every way. We will continue to work together as parents to always ensure they receive the love and attention they deserve," Brady wrote in an Instagram Story.

"We arrived at this decision to end our marriage after much consideration. Doing so, is, of course, painful and difficult, like it is for many people who go through the same thing every day around the world. However we wish only the best for each other as we pursue whatever new chapters in our lives that are yet to be written," he continued.

Brady concluded with, "And we kindly as for privacy and respect as we navigate what is to come in the days and weeks ahead. Thank you."

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback and Brazilian fashion model have officially reached a settlement ending their marriage. The Blast recently reported that the divorce documents will be officially filed today in Florida.

Reports have confirmed that the divorce lawyers for both Bündchen and Brady have been working with a mediator so that the two can come to an agreement in regard to property settlement and custody of their children. It seems the two have officially come to terms, but the terms of the settlement will remain confidential and sealed.

The speculation that the two were in rocky waters began when Tom Brady unexpectedly took an 11-day break from training camp in August due to “personal reasons.”

After Brady returned to training camp from his 11-day absence, he released a statement saying, “Everyone has different situations they’re dealing with, and we all have unique challenges to our lives. I’m 45 years old, man.”

Although the rumors suggested Brady’s decision to unretire and return to the NFL is the reason to blame, another source, close to the Tampa Bay Bucs quarterback and the Brazilian fashion model, says that is not the case and those claims are “sexist.”

The divorce news comes weeks after reports confirmed Brady and Bündchen both hired divorce lawyers and were spotted without their wedding rings.

Brady has not been playing his best on the football field this season amid the marital problems he is facing. Thanks to the Bucs 27-22 loss to the Baltimore Ravens last night during Thursday Night Football, Brady and his team have now lost five of six games, resulting in the team falling to 3-5.
