Gisele Bündchen Reportedly Gives Tom Brady An Ultimatum Amid Marriage Problems

It's family or football -- According to inside sources, Gisele Bündchen gave Tom Brady an ultimatum amid current marital problems.

The speculation that the two were going through tough times first began in August when the 45-year-old Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback unexpectedly took an 11-day break from training camp due to “personal reasons.”

After the rumors surfaced, some blamed Brady’s decision to come out of retirement and return to the NFL as the main issue.

Now, a new source is coming forward, saying Bündchen told Brady he needed to choose football or family. 

“Gisele told Tom either he leaves football to spend time with the family or she is gone for good,” an insider told Us Weekly.

Bündchen is worried about her husband’s health and the full-contact sport. “She doesn’t want him to continue to get injured and not be able to enjoy life in the future,” the source added. “She is doing it for her family.”

This is something the Brazilian model has mentioned in the past.

“Obviously, I have my concerns — this is a very violent sport, and I have my children and I would like him to be more present. I have definitely had those conversations with him over and over again,” Bündchen told Elle. “But ultimately, I feel that everybody has to make a decision that works for [them]. He needs to follow his joy, too.”

She continued, “I’ve done my part, which is [to] be there for [Tom]. I moved to Boston [when he played for the Patriots], and I focused on creating a cocoon and a loving environment for my children to grow up in and to be there supporting him and his dreams. … Seeing my children succeed and become the beautiful little humans that they are, seeing him succeed, and being fulfilled in his career — it makes me happy. At this point in my life, I feel like I’ve done a good job on that.”

Since then, reports have surfaced, confirming both individuals have hired their divorce lawyer. Both Bündchen and Brady have also been spotted not wearing their wedding rings.

The Buccaneers are not playing their best football right now as they are currently 3-4, something that is shocking to many NFL fans. This is the only other time Tom Brady has been under .500 since a Week One loss to the Saints in 2020.

Brady spoke out on the team’s performance recently, saying, “We’re plenty capable of making plays. We’re just not making them consistently enough to score points. Make a big play. Make a bad play. Make a big play. Make a bad play. In football, it’s just not good enough. You can’t play like that. You got to string enough good plays together to get the ball into the red area and score points. Just haven’t done that.”

Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are getting ready to face Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens, who is an MVP candidate with his 4-3 team, throwing for 1,400 yards and 13 touchdowns, in Thursday Night Football on October 27.
