Kaia Gerber Soaks Up Rays In Braless Crop Top With Her New Puppy By The Ocean

Kaia Gerber had a stunning ocean view behind her this weekend, but she only appeared to have eyes for her new puppy. The 18-year-old model and daughter to Cindy Crawford made headlines on Saturday for being spotted out and about in West Hollywood as she and dad Rande Gerber stopped by The Labelle Foundation to pick up a foster puppy – this would be round two for the new Louis Vuitton face as she's already given a temporary home to one four-legged friend amid COVID-19.

The adorable puppy seemed worthy of an Instagram update, one that landed on Kaia's feed on Sunday.

Kaia's photo showed her squatting down on a grassy stretch and backed by Californian ocean horizons and blue skies. The stunner wasn't showing her face, instead seen looking downwards as the puppy lay between her legs, with Kaia rocking a simple wardrobe – given that snaps of the model in her jeans and braless gray crop top were obtained by The Daily Mail yesterday, it was clearly the same outfit.

Kaia was in full sunlight as she caught the beating rays, with her golden tan on show as well as her slender arms. She opted out of a caption.

Kaia's post took less than an hour to bring in the celebrity likes. Fellow model and wife to "Yummy" singer Justin Bieber, Hailey left Kaia and her pup a like, as did artist Tinashe. Meanwhile, deceased "Fast & Furious" actor Paul Walker's daughter Meadow asked if she could "quarantine" with Kaia.

Pop sensation Billie Eilish and "High School Musical" alum Vanessa Hudgens also left likes.

The update follows one made yesterday as Kaia flaunted her killer bikini body in a leopard-print two piece while cozying up with her pup.

Kaia has been making headlines for being in quarantine with her high-profile friends. Alongside being spotted on grocery store outings – one for Clorox wipes where Kaia wore vinyl gloves – the model has been featuring in TikTok videos with supermodel Cara Delevingne, actress Ashley Benson, plus "13 Reasons Why" star Tommy Dorfman.

While eyebrows were raised over the group outings, the squad does appear to be a united one in quarantine. Social media has also received a COVID-19-themed injection from Kaia as she now hosts her Instagram book club.

Earlier this year, Kaia was profiled by i-D magazine with a photoshoot Kaia herself stated to be inspired by 1999 movie "Girl, Interrupted." The feature saw Kaia speak of her celebrity status in terms of her career.

"I didn’t want my modeling to be overshadowed by being a celebrity, or being some personality. And also, what can you ask a 16-year-old girl? I didn’t have anything to say two years ago. I had no experience. There’s only so many times I can talk about my beauty routine, or the advice I got from my mum about modeling. It’s boring. I want to do what models do, and that’s modeling," she said.
