Justin Bieber and Hailey Bieber might just have won the title of the couple who hangs out the most with their respective exes!

A few weeks after Hailey sent the internet into a frenzy by hanging out with her husband's ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez, fans were treated to another "ex reunion!"

Earlier this week, Justin was spotted hanging out with fellow singer Shawn Mendes. The pair of friendly bros were seen departing a church service on Wednesday night in the "Peaches" singer's Lamborghini Urus SUV.

The duo appeared to be in great spirits and very friendly, with Justin donning a white sweatshirt with a pink beanie while Mendes rocked an oversized beige sweater and accessories with a simple necklace. Hollywood Life shared exclusive photos of both Canadian singers during their outing.

Hailey and the "Stitches" singer were an item for less than a year after they were first spotted holding hands and getting cozy around October 2017. While neither party ever confirmed if there was an actual relationship, things got heated when they made their red carpet debut at the 2018 Met Gala in May of that year. Per reports, the model was the one who asked Mendes to be her plus one. However, that was the last we heard of the duo.

Shortly after the red carpet debut, Hailey and Justin reunited, and a month into their rekindled romance, the "Purpose" singer proposed, and the rest is history. The short timeline between Hailey’s romance with Mendes and that of her husband caused fans to think Justin didn’t like his fellow Canadian artist.

It also didn’t help that during a 2015 interview, the 22-time Grammy nominee claimed he didn’t know who Mendes was. However, the "In My Blood" singer shut down any possible rumors of a conflict during an appearance on "BBC Radio 1," where he had nothing but praises for Justin’s talent.

Addressing Justin’s earlier remarks, Mendes said, "We haven’t met, but I guess he just doesn’t know. I’m definitely a fan, I looked up to him for a while, but I guess he just doesn’t know who I am. We’ll have to let him know."

Indeed, the 24-year-old singer made the 28-year-old songwriter know who he was, and news of a feud was squashed when the trio — Hailey, Justin, and Mendes — reunited at a home recording studio in August 2020 amid the pandemic.

In photos of the event that broke the internet, the model and the "Wizards of Waverly" place star looked like best buds, posing with little to no distance between them.

The girls hugged it out and appeared affectionate with each other. The hangout session was true quite the deal, given that for years, the media had perpetuated rumors of a feud between both ladies. It also didn’t help that fans of Gomez often accused the Rhode Beauty founder of stealing Justin.

A few weeks before Gomez and Hailey spent time together, the 25-year-old, in a shocking move, addressed the rumors during her appearance on the "Call Her Daddy" podcast, seemingly resulting in increased tension.

Nevertheless, a source claimed that the Hollywood beauties made the bold move to take a picture together for a specific reason. The insider said to E! News, "They were at the same event and were asked to take a photo together. They agreed and decided to clear up the rumors once and for all. They wanted to show that there’s really no hate between them and that they are both in a good place. It was a moment and an opportunity to put all of the noise behind them, and they took it."

As for how Mr. Bieber felt about seeing his wife and his ex-girlfriend having a friendly moment, a source said, "Justin is very happy with the fact that they can all move on and that it can be peaceful between everyone."
