Last night, Vinny Guadagnino performed a cha-cha to “Save the Last Dance for Me,", earning a total score of 36 out of 50 points.

It was obvious Guadagnino did not perform his best, as he stumbled and began the dance with some mishaps. However, most of the judges praised him for trying and for bringing a smile to the dance floor. Grammy-award winning singer, Michael Bublé , was a guest judge and called the routine “amazing,” while Derek Hough referred to him as the “people’s champion.”

Len Goodman, however, did not hold back and told him like it was, calling the routine "a mess," which you could see made Guadagnino emotional. Luckily, thanks to the fans, the "Jersey Shore" star did not go home and will be back again next week.

After the show, Guadagnino and his partner spoke out about their performance.

“I messed up, like, a couple of my steps in the beginning … I know that, I’m not denying that at all,” he told US. “So, however he wants to judge that he can. I’m happy that we recovered and kept going [because] it was still a fire dance, you know, And we’ve done it so many times, start to finish, obviously. … I’m trying not to beat myself up over being in last place.”

A few weeks ago, the “Jersey Shore” cast member opened up about his experience thus far and thanked his fans for their support. “Guys, you saved me again. I made it another week on ‘Dancing With the Stars’,” Guadagnino said. “[I] had the lowest scores again.”

He continued, “It’s fun, but it is challenging and there’s a lot that goes into it. I am really on a journey here and you guys are like saving me and keeping me in it with the votes so I really just wanted to say thank you from the bottom of my heart.”

The 34-year-old admitted that he is not a dancer by any means, and he never knows what to expect from “Dancing With the Stars” every week, but he knows the reason he is still competing is because of his fan base.
