Cardi B is celebrating a massive legal win!

The last few days must have been upsetting for the rapper, who had to spend time in court defending herself against Kevin Brophy over a raunchy artwork cover that he claimed illegally used and was his tattoo.

The complainant, who accused Cardi of “humiliating” him with the display, demanded $5 million in damages. Unfortunately, Brophy lost the case as the “Bodak Yellow” hitmaker walked away without a dent in her bank account.

A United States jury took Cardi’s side in the lawsuit that accused her of inappropriately using a man’s tattoo on the cover of her mixtape, "Gangsta B—ch Music, Vol. 1."  The project, which was released in 2016, showed an unknown man between the New York City native’s legs, as she drank alcohol straight from a bottle.

After a 90-minute deliberation, the jury rejected the claims against Cardi B, concluding that Brophy had zero proof that the rapper, KSR Group LLC — her former management company — or Washpoppin’ — her cosmetics company, “misappropriated” his likeness on the cover.

They also found that the complaint had not proven that the “WAP” rapper or the companies showed Brophy in a false light. The father-of-two had sued the rapper for $5 million in 2017 after her team disregarded a cease-and-desist letter from his lawyers concerning the mixtape cover and its use of his unmistakable back tattoo.

The trial for the suit started on October 18 in the Santa Ana courthouse, located in the Central District of California. The short-lived trial saw Cardi pulling a massive crowd of fans that greeted her as she walked away from the courtroom beaming on Friday.

The 30-year-old, who was escorted by her security guard and lawyers, could not withhold her joy, taking to Twitter to announce to her 24.8 million followers, "I just won this lawsuit …Im soo emotional right now [tear-drop emoji]…I wanna kiss Gods feet right now …..IM BEYOND GRATEFUL!!!!"

Along with the 77k+ likes the tweet got, the replies and quotes were buzzing with mixed responses for the win. One person wrote, “Idk how buddy even THOUGHT he was gonna win! First of all you tried to sue the wrong person,” and another instructed, “Now back to business @iamcardib GOD IS GOOD.”

A third fan mentioned that it was “awesome” because he and his wife prayed for Cardi to win. Even TV host and comedian Loni Love, was happy for the singer as she advised, “Keep being you @iamcardib ..” However, a few critics wondered how many lawsuits she had to fight off. One person went as far as suggesting that Cardi paid the judge off.

The ensemble was a red bodysuit designed with heavy bling that looked like diamond and ruby stones, a tiny waist, and a feathered back. The feathers also make up most of her headdress, with ruby pieces dropping down Cardi’s forehead.

The 2020 Billboard Woman of the Year paired the simple yet daring fit with a pair of red gloves, layered diamond and ruby necklaces, a garter, and her signature dagger-like nails.

The 14-time BET Hip Hop Awards Winner showed off her burlesque look on Instagram with a series of snapshots that was captioned, "Made it to 30 with 2 cribs, 6 whips, multiple properties, and bless kids."

For the party, which she had kept hush-hush from fans, Cardi uploaded a clip that focused on the highlights. In the footage, the “Love & Hip Hop: New York” star appeared to have had the time of her life dancing with her husband — Offset — their friends and loved ones at the “Dirty Thirty” themed party.

Guests like Chloe and Halle Bailey, Jamie Foxx, Chance the Rapper, Ice Spice, Keenon Dequan Ray Jackson — better known as YG, and Tiffany Haddish, graced the event in their best attires and enjoyably turned up with Cardi to the best of their abilities.
