Is it an act of 'Karma?'

The exact answer may be difficult to determine, but Taylor Swift's army of 'Swifties' have their radars on and have been extremely busy dissecting the lyrics on Swift's brand-new album since it was released on streaming services at the stroke of midnight!

Several names of famous celebs who have been frequently associated with the "Anti-Hero" singer have entered the chat and have been on Swifities' minds since their first (or fifth) listens; her fans have been feverishly putting their Swiftie sleuthing skills to the test and are attempting to pinpoint exactly who their girl is singing about!

Which Famous Celebs Could Have Their 'Reputation' On The Line?

For those who may be less familiar with the countless celebrities associated with Swift over the years, it's your time to listen up and take notes!

Swift has dated a number of high-profile celebrities since rising to fame during the mid-aughts, and she's also had a number of celebs with whom one could say she's had some 'bad blood' with for a time!

An extremely notable celeb who belongs in the latter category is Mr. Kanye West. West famously expressed his ire for Swift's "You Belong With Me" music video snagging an MTV Video Music Award over Beyonce's "Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)" way back in 2009!

Swift and West have been at odds ever since that infamous moment when he chose to interrupt her acceptance speech for the year's Best Female Video 'moon man' to share his thoughts.

Seven years after the incident the duo was at it again!

By that time West had tied the knot with Kim Kardashian, and she certainly had a memorable contribution to the saga involving her now-former husband and the "Shake It Off" singer.

Kardashian recorded footage of West and Swift discussing West's desire to namecheck her in "Famous," a track which was in progress at the time and would later appear on West's "Life Of Pablo" LP.

She would then post the clip on her Snapchat after Swift later released a statement revealing she had not explicitly given West permission to use her likeness in "Famous."

According to one of The Blast's recent reports on Swift's "Midnights" TikTok series, Swift had actually cautioned West against releasing a song "with such a misogynistic message." It was also later proven Kardashian had edited the clip, per a Vox report.

Is Swift Still Singing About 'Kimye?'

Several years and additions to Swift's discography later, some Swifties are still steadfast in their belief that the "Look What You Made Me Do" singer could still be processing her war of words with Kardashian and West, writing songs about the subject and sneaking in references about the situation into the various aspects of her career! Is it time to break out the snake emojis?

Earlier this summer The Blast pondered the fan theory that Swift seemingly threw some shade in Kardashian's direction by allegedly choosing to release "Midnights" on Kardashian's birthday, October 21st.

Many Twitter users discussed the possibility of Swift purposefully making such a move. One user tweeted, "taylor swift is dropping new album on october 21st. she announced the album 13 years after that vmas accident with kan*e. do you know who was born on october 21st? kim kardashian. i love blondie. she's crazy like that'"

Now, on the big "Midnights" release day, there are some fans who think the 'Kimye' references are a-plenty on Swift's tenth album!

According to Page Six, the album's eighth track, "Vigilante Sh*t," has caught the attention of some Swifties who believe its lyrics are about Kardashian and West!

The publication also shared an example in the song's lyrics which seems to support this fan theory as well as the idea of an alleged reconciliation between Swift and Kardashian.

Those lyrics are, "Now she gets the house, gets the kids, gets the pride/picture me, thick as thieves with your ex-wife,/"and she looks so pretty/Driving in your Benz."

Could this be the 'getaway car' Swift was referring to in the song of the same name from her 2017 album, "Reputation," which has been said to be heavily inspired by her feud with the former couple?

The odds of curious fans ever receiving concrete confirmation from Swift are low, but the bounty of other "Midnights" related goodies Swift has delivered for fans to be excited about, is big!

At 3:00 AM Eastern time, Swift's "Special very chaotic surprise" she teased earlier this week, turned out to be the revelation of seven additional songs to the album's original 13 tracks. She also released the music video for "Anti-Hero" a few hours later!

"Midnights" is now available to be streamed in both the standard album edition and in the "3 am edition" which features the additional songs!
