Joy Behar and her “The View” co-panelists are psyching themselves up for the spooky season like many others around the world as the much-anticipated Halloween approaches.
In one of the program’s latest episodes, the female presenters touched on an exciting subject involving ghosts and sex, during which Behar, an O.G. panelist, revealed a shocking detail about her sex life.
Joy Behar Says She Has Been Intimate With A Few Ghosts

Introducing the episode was Whoopi Goldberg, who informed viewers that they were about to see a clip of a woman claiming her house is being haunted by ghosts with erotic intentions. The footage showed an elderly woman recounting her spooky experience in her Texas home where she mistook a ghost for her husband as she heard the spirit saying, “Looking good.”
There were other instances, as heard in recordings, where the ghosts talked dirty. And apparently, the building was once a “bordello,” which may explain why the ghosts there were “sexual.” After the video ended, Goldberg was lost for words, leading Behar to voice in, saying that the woman was having a sexual hallucination, which she believed every woman liked.
She also jokingly called the female a “whack job” even when Sunny Hostin, another co-presenter, noted that there was tape, providing evidence about the woman’s claims. The veteran talk show host said the ghost was possibly a George Clooney lookalike before Sara Haines, a co-presenter, asked if having sex with a spirit was cheating.
While the female panelists conversed about the weirdness and perks of being with a ghost, Behar revealed in a low voice, easy to miss, “I’ve had sex with a few ghosts.” Her revelation prompted the women to laugh while Goldberg asked if anyone had heard the statement before saying she would “let it ride.”
She further explained to viewers and her co-presenters about the demon “succubus,” similar to a ghost, but it sucks the life out of people. Such an interesting topic would no doubt gain viewers’ attention, and with Behar’s confession, fans were in for a surprise.
Although Behar has been a longtime host on the talk show since 1997, the 80-year-old has no intention of leaving the company, which she declared while marking her 80th birthday. She spoke to PEOPLE in detail about her future on “The View,” revealing that she had just signed a contract and would be there for a while.
Behar referred to a new three-year contract signed in July, ensuring her position on the network remained till 2025. Fans would know that she currently panels the talk show with multiple brilliant onscreen personalities like Haines, Hostin, Goldberg, and new co-hosts, Anna Navarro and Farrah Griffin.
During the chat, the American comedian applauded the program, pointing to its significance in the life of its viewers. She also spoke on how the show’s ratings have hit the roof over the years and gotten the rank of the most-watched show on daytime television. Behar elaborated:
“It’s really, you know, something that is an important show in many ways. Sometimes I don’t believe that, as I’ve been here since the beginning, but we’re the most-watched show in daytime. Most-watched!”

While praising “The View,” she also expressed her satisfaction with the impact she made on the program and insisted on her decision to be a host in the meantime. She said, “I’m happy to be a part of it too. So no, I’m not going anywhere. I’m having a good time.”
“The Great Gasbag” Author Calls Talk Show’s Panel Perfect After Meghan McCain’s Exit
In a past episode of “The View,” when a former co-host, Abby Huntsman, returned to the show, Behar voiced her belief about the panel being perfect given some ex-colleagues’ exits. The Blast shared details of the conversation, including the duo’s reminiscence of some moments at the table.
Huntsman admittedly missed the show and some ex-staffers, but she also had a hard time during her stay due to some studio executives. Behar also shared similar sentiments as she acknowledged her former colleague’s remark. She added, “I mean, I don’t miss – the panel is perfect now.”
Several fans believed the Queens College alum’s comment was a crafty shot at her past co-host Meghan McCain with whom she has been at odds for some time. It was reported that their conflict, including several heated moments on set, may have contributed to McCain’s exit from the show.
