'RHOC' Star Vicki Gunvalson Reveals She Was Unable To Close On Puerto Vallarta Condo, Fears Podcast Is Boring

Vicki Gunvalson is doing her best to stay safe and remain quarantined between her home in Coto De Caza and her insurance company nearby, where none of her employees are currently working, and unfortunately for the former Real Housewives of Orange County cast member, that means she won't be closing on her new condo in Puerto Vallarta.

During an interview with Hollywood Life, Gunvalson revealed that she likely won't be able to finalize the purchase of her Mexican getaway until this summer or fall.

After revealing to the outlet that she hasn't "whooped it up" since January when she and her fiance, Steve Lodge, vacationed in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, Gunvalson confirmed she was supposed to be in Mexico to close on her condo on Thursday.

"I was supposed to be in Puerto Vallarta today. I know people don’t want to feel sorry for me but I was getting ready to close on a condo there and obviously I couldn’t," the former Bravo cast member explained.

While Gunvalson decided to purchase the vacation home after finding it months ago, she is now not sure what the future holds with the property.

"If I pull out, I lose my money. If I stay in, it probably won’t close until midsummer or fall. Everything is a mess,” she explained.

Because Gunvalson can't go to Mexico now, her deal is on hold but hopefully, once the coronavirus is contained, she will be able to move forward with the purchase and not lose any money.

Speaking to Hollywood Life about her podcast, Whoop It Up with Vicki, which she launched just over a month ago, the ex-Real Housewives of Orange County star admitted to feeling as if it is boring for her listeners.

“I feel like it’s boring. Steve and I… we’re so awkward with each other. We love each other but we do not agree on a lot of things.. but I love him to death. He brings a good sense of calm towards me,” she shared.

Also in regard to her podcast, Gunvalson said that while she and Heather Dubrow did star alongside one another on The Real Housewives of Orange County for years, she isn't so sure that Dubrow would make time to appear on her show.

“Heather’s got her own podcast so I don’t know if she’d come on my little one. She’s very fancy," Gunvalson explained.

Gunvalson then said she hopes to follow in Dubrow's success as a podcast host.

"[She has a] lot of followers, but I’m going to catch up to her,” she vowed.
