Britanny & Patrick Mahomes Enjoys Pumpkin Patch With Daughter As Due Date Approaches

The Mahomes are enjoying Halloween festivities with their baby girl, Sterling Skye!

Patrick and Brittany, who have been together for a long time, know how to tug at their fans' heartstrings with their adorable relationship. And that is exactly what happened when the pregnant fitness entrepreneur took to her social media page to share a slew of new photos.

On Wednesday, Brittany took to Instagram to share a series of sweet family photos of her and Patrick during a pumpkin patch outing with their daughter and some friends. The pregnant Kansas City Current co-owner's baby bump is fully displayed in the snaps, despite her oversized flannel jacket and black jeans.

Sterling is her mom's twin in the pink version of the flannel, which she accessorized with a white number 15 beanie — 15 is her dad's NFL jersey number and white sneakers. In one of the pictures, the couple — both 27 years old — looked lovingly at little Sterling as they posed in front of a rustic truck filled with pumpkins.

Another photo was a stand-alone of the mother and daughter duo, with the 19-month-old wrapped in a white and brown blanket. Patrick and Brittany pose with their daughter and another couple — Samantha and Grant — and their child on another slide. The final frame featured Sterling and a similarly dressed toddler sitting on the rustic pumpkin train.

The expectant mother had no words, opting to caption the post with three emojis, writing, "???" One person said they could not "deal" with the "cuteness overload" in the comments. Another fan claimed that the soon-to-be family of four was "perfect."

Several others just wanted to know where to purchase Sterling's bennie and the flannel jackets. A few more wanted to know which month Brittany was due because they could not wait to celebrate her and her husband's good news.

Fans had previously gone wild when the couple announced they were expecting a second child two months after they walked down the aisle in Hawaii. The post, which came with a simple "Round 2" caption, included an image of Sterling holding a sign with the words, "Big Sister Duties Coming Soon."

Long before Brittany and Patrick made things official, they were friends. In fact the pair had maintained their friendship for a year before the American quarterback gave Brittany a Valentine's Day rose and card.

They soon began dating when Patrick was a sophomore, and his then-girlfriend was a junior at Whitehouse High School in East Texas. The lovebirds spent eight years together before getting engaged in September 2020 following Patrick's team winning the Super Bowl. 

The Texas Tech University alum wasted no time asking his love to marry him on the very day he received his championship ring at Arrowhead Stadium. They promptly welcomed Sterling in February 2021, and she added extra joy to their big day by serving as their flower girl in their March 2022 wedding.

The Blast expanded on Patrick and Brittany's joint baby announcement, which came through an Instagram post in a May report. In the sweet photos, the adorable couple looked content as they basked in the sun and posed with Sterling on the grass.

In the first snap, the couple enjoyed the sunny day outside, posing on the grass with Sterling, who sat between her parents, holding a sign that read "Big Sister Duties Coming Soon."

Sticking with the announcement's theme, little Sterling donned a pink outfit designed with the words, "I have a secret to tell you." Meanwhile, her parents wore matching beige shirts and ripped blue jean ensembles.

While this shot showed the pair smiling directly at the camera, the second one featured them looking at their baby girl, who continued to hold up the sign affectionately. In the final image, the American football star and the certified personal trainer maintained their matching outfits while their daughter wore a rainbow-designed white top and pink shorts.

Brittany and Patrick used one hand to hold up a snapshot of their second child's ultrasound while using the other to wrap Sterling in a warm embrace. The post warmed the hearts of their supporters, including sports stars like Mitch Trubisky, Jack Anderson, Chris Cabott, and Lonnie Johnson Jr.

Even sports brands such as WHOOP, Steinberg Sports & Entertainment, and BioSteel, could not resist dropping their well-meaning comments.
