Paris Hilton Interviews The Man Who Stole Her Sunglasses On Her Podcast

Greg Brown came clean about stealing from Paris Hilton 15 years ago in a recent TikTok video using the "One Thing About Me" trend. He told the story of the night he stole Hilton's sunglasses out of her car at a nightclub, and now Hilton wants a word with him. On her latest "This Is Paris" podcast, Hilton and Brown talk about the case of the missing sunglasses.

"Nice glasses," Brown screamed in the beginning of the podcast. "Thank you so much for not taking me to jail, unless you're here to gather more evidence." He then asked if he should wear the sunglasses in question. "It was so funny and I was dying when I saw that," Hilton said about the TikTok Brown created. "Can you please tell us the story about how you stole my sunglasses?"

"I never thought there would be a reality where I would have to sit here and tell you this story," Brown said. He then asked if Hilton had a "recollection of this night" so she can fill in any blanks in the story. "So I was at an MIA concert and actually that night I chose to wear ski boots to that concert, literal ski boots, cause it was 2007, it was very like neon color energy. You know, you know, you set the trend probably. And we left and I was very drunk, very stoned, it's legal in Canada, I can say that," he began his story. "And there was this like crazy ruckus which was you pulling up in a black car in front of the Guvernment [nightclub] where you were like the highlight of the night."

His story continued explaining that Brown and his friend just wanted to get close to Hilton. "It just so happened the way the crowd was pushed, me and my friend were pushed to one side, everyone who had been waiting was pushed to the other and then you got out of your car like right there," he said. "There's actually a documentary in Canada about you, about your impact, and at one point it cuts to like 'she has crazy fans' and it's just me and my friend yelling."

He continues setting the scene of the evening saying, "You go in, everything dies down, your car is left there and me and my friend were just like 'Oh my God, let's get in the car.' So we open the door, we get in the car," he explained. "My friend starts screaming, I think the cops have come. I will never forget the way she was running. It was like she was like hunched over screaming running, and I was just like 'Oh my God, Oh my God I'm going to jail.' Then she was like 'I took her glasses. I took her glasses.' We called all our friends, we were freaking out, and I still have the glasses. I feel bad," he said, to which Hilton responds, "Oh my God, I love this story so much."

She then asked Brown why he decided to come clean years later on TikTok. "Because of that trend, TikTok's been saying that weird trend 'One Thing About Me' and to be honest, if anything ever goes, I'm on a date, the conversation goes quiet, I go 'wanna hear a story?' and I just tell that story. So it's like it's kind of that story that's in my back pocket of my life that always people are just like you're insane. So when that trend came along, it's like that's the only thing about me."

Brown didn't think the TikTok would get the attention it did and asked Hilton how the video ended up making it to her. "I got a Google alert and I looked at it and it was like someone steals Paris' sunglasses. I was like 'what?' And I was just talking to my friend about how like all this crazy sh-t happens to me and people are always jacking me in all these stories and I was like see I told you this is exactly what I was talking about, and then we watched it and I was like 'Oh my God, this is genius. I need to watch it again.' And then I was like 'Should I duet it?' And she was like 'Yes, definitely' so I did."

Brown then said he would give the sunglasses back to her and she said "No, I'm giving them to you as a present."
