Halle Berry didn’t need to wait for #ThrowbackThursday to deliver the old-school shot this week. The 53-year-old Oscar winner took to Instagram two days early – her Tuesday post offered a reminder of how she looked back in the day, also mentioning the obvious. Coronavirus, that is.

Halle is now amid the slew of celebrities staying home as COVID-19 sees the U.S. death toll from the novel respiratory virus overtake that of China – over 3,700 Americans have now died. The “Catwoman” star’s photo today delivered uplifting vibes amid hard times, and there were zero complaints about the “Way Back When” snap.

Halle’s photo showed her several decades ago. The “John Wick” actress had been photographed in an attractive and flower-bordered grass garden, seen standing barefoot on stone pavings as she held a water hose.

It was a bombshell shot, no two ways about it. Halle’s jaw-dropping body was on show via a skimpy and thin-strapped cream dress with a racy slit – a plunging neckline also showed off the beauty’s cleavage as she threw out a smile and a piercing gaze. The pixie cut that defined Halle’s “007 James Bond” role was all there – the caption was more about being stuck home, though.

The caption read:

“When you bought a new dress in early March and just need to wear that thing OUT.? #WayBackWhen.”

With over 55,000 likes left in just one hour, it looked like Instagram was down for this update. Halle’s 6 million followers quickly flocked to the comments section – many themselves mentioned the global pandemic as they gushed over the shot.

“Right! I’m definitely dressing up to party all by myself while quarantined!♈️????,” one fan wrote.

“WOW,” another said.

“Whoa” was another comment.

Halle was also called “forever beautiful” –remarks over the star’s age-defying looks are frequent.

Halle made headlines earlier this year for announcing her new Re-Spin fitness line. While the star is far from alone amid celebrity faces flogging exercise merchandise, this MMA-trained face has an edge on the competition. Halle completed three years’ worth of mixed martial arts training in just six months for her “John Wick: Parabellum” role – she’s even been photographed with a swollen eye as she sustained injuries for her upcoming “Bruised” movie.

Feedback to Re-Spin so far has proven positive.

Halle has been updating her social media amid COVID-19. Self-care routines have been shared, with Halle also getting #QuarantineKitchen trending as she showcased her mouth-watering Cheesy Bacon Ranch Chicken.

“I’m on day 15 and my head scarf game is strong right now (who has time for a hair do?) ? – Since I don’t have my trusty spirit animal @peterleethomas with me right now, I thought I would give y’all one of my go-to #Keto recipes… Cheesy Bacon Ranch Chicken. This baby is filling, easy to make, requires only a few ingredients and is next level DELICIOUS,” she captioned her shot.

She’s unique, that’s for sure. For more from Halle, give her Instagram a follow.
