Sarah Hyland & Wells Adams Celebrate Being Together In Love For Half A Decade

Sarah Hyland and Wells Adams marked half a decade on their love journey. 

The "Modern Family" star and "The Bachelorette" alum started their romantic relationship in 2017. Their love story began when Adams slid into Hyland’s DMs. Five years after, the lovebirds walked down the aisle. 

Just two months after they exchanged vows, the sweethearts reminisced on the day they started dating. 

In a joint Instagram post, the "Vampire Academy" actress and the radio host celebrated their five years dating anniversary with a beautiful throwback picture. The snapshot showed the duo on their wedding day, kissing passionately at sunset. 

Hyland, dressed in a stunning white dress with sheer sleeves, wrapped one of her arms around her man’s neck and placed the other hand lovingly on his cheek, while Adams wrapped one hand around his wife’s waist and placed the other hand on her butt. Both their eyes were closed, savoring the moment as the camera captured the shot. 

“5 years of I love you’s today ?Happy half a decade baby ?”, they captioned the post.  Of course, fans remembered when the couple started their love affair and raved on in the comments. 

One fan remarked, "wow! Time flies. I remember when you said very early on, “I think he is the one!" while another fan added, "Congrats to you too."  

It’s been celebrations all through for the couple as just last month, the couple marked one month of being happily married. Per The Blast, the couple made a joint Instagram post to celebrate their milestone. The post featured an adorable photo of the lovebirds smiling brightly while surrounded by their loved ones. 

“Great news! One month being married, no divorces yet!" they captioned the post. Several fans and loved ones took to the comment section to wish the latest couple well and to also make jokes. One person penned, "They always say the honeymoon stage is the hardest," while another remarked, "That’s like 5 years for celebrities."

Although they delayed their wedding due to COVID- 19, the couple finally tied the knot in August. The newest bride flaunted pictures of her lavish wedding on social media, giving her followers a sneak peek of her special day.

The wedding was held at Santa Ynez, CA. at Sunstone Winery, which suited its "vineyard" theme. Close friends and family were in attendance and the ceremony was officiated by the bride's on-screen uncle in "Modern Family," played by Jesse Tyler Ferguson. 

In the picture posted, the “Struck by Lighting” actress donned a lovely Vera Wang custom-made dress while her beau wore a black fitted Gucci tuxedo. As every love story has a beginning, theirs was no exception as the "Dirty Dancing" actress, while in an Interview, revealed how they had started dating. She disclosed that the 38-year-old had slid into her DMs.

In her words, "I thought he was funny, and he was a fan of my show. I saw him as the bartender, and I was like, That’s really cute!" Their romance continued to blossom and in 2019, the tv host proposed to Hyland at a beachfront and she shared the news with her fans on Instagram.

Even though it has been two months after their wedding, the radio personality still can’t get over that day and this is a memory he will cherish forever. 

Earlier this month, the "Bachelor In Paradise" star took a trip down memory lane in a recent chat. The star divulged the best part of getting married, saying, "Once you get married, you’re allowed to have sex, which is pretty cool."

During the chat, Adams also highlighted his favorite moments from his wedding day. He recalled, "I think it was seeing her turn the corner and walk down the aisle in her dress. That was pretty epic."

He further thanked everyone who graced the occasion, admitting that they made the day extra special for him and his wife.
