Larsa Pippen Sets The Record Straight About Marcus Jordan Dating Rumors

Despite being seen with Marcus Jordan on more than one occasion recently, Larsa Pippen revealed that the two are just "good friends" during BravoCon 2022 in New York City this weekend. Rumors that former NBA star Scottie Pippen's ex-wife was romantically linked to Michael Jordan's son began last month when the two were spotted enjoying lunch together in Miami.

Rumors began swirling around about Larsa, 48, and Marcus, 31, after they were seen dining with another couple at Zuma, a Japanese restaurant in Miami in early September. TMZ reported that Larsa "got a little skittish" when people in the restaurant started to notice their presence and were taking photos.

Despite the two being seen kissing at Rolling Loud Music Festival a few weeks later, Larsa is sticking to her guns that they are not dating. "We're friends, Pippen told PEOPLE at BravoCon 2022 on Saturday. "We've been friends for a few years and that's really what it is. We're friends."

Marcus is the NBA legend's middle child with ex-wife Juanita. The couple divorced in 2006 after 17 years of marriage are also parents to Jeffrey, 33, and Jasmine, 29. Marcus played basketball at University of Central Florida, and six years ago, founded a clothing and accessory retailer that pays homage to his father's NBA success called, Trophy Room.

Back in August, Larsa appeared on "Real Housewives of New Jersey" Melissa Gorga's "On Display" podcast and discussed her current dating life since her divorce from NBA star Scottie. "I feel like I am kind of mentally in a place of, like, I was married to a really famous guy that was really cute, that had a good body that was really successful that gave me four gorgeous kids," she explained. "So, where the hell are you gonna find a guy that can like, fill in - it doesn't have to be all of those, but like, a few of those boxes. It's kind of hard. I thought it was going to be easier, to be honest with you."

While Larsa talked highly of her ex to Gorga, that's not always been the case. During a past episode of the "Real Housewives of Miami," Larsa said that her ex acts as "The Punisher" when the two don't see eye-to-eye on things. "If he doesn't get his way, he punishes me. He's like 'The Punisher,'" she said.

Larsa and Scottie were married from 1997 through 2021 and finalized their divorce last December. They share four children together, Scotty Jr., 21, Preston, 20, Justin, 17, and Sophia, 14. "We co-parent great. I feel like Scottie and I both are the same," Larsa said. "We're really traditional in the way we treat our kids, the way we handle things. So I feel like co-parenting has been pretty easy for us."

Larsa is set to appear in season 5 of the "RHOM" and has been enjoying her time with her newly single co-star, Lisa Hochstein. "We just have so much fun together. I feel like we love going to the same places," she said. "We like the same kind of music. So it's always fun when we're together."
