Drew Barrymore Reveals She Was Recently Ghosted
During a recent episode of Barrymore's "Drew's News" podcast, the actress revealed that she was recently ghosted while discussing dating with her guests Rayna Greenberg and Ashley Hesseltine of the "Girls Gotta Eat" podcast. "I just got ghosted so hard recently," she said. "It was gnarly. But this is so great because something so wonderful came out of it. Because it really hurt my feelings cause the person and I had a great date and we made a plan to meet up that weekend and it just felt very adult. It felt like oh there's something here maybe," she said. "Complete ghost."
The conversation continued talking about closure after getting ghosted and how to handle the situation. Barrymore said, "Why would you want to engage with this person at all who would treat anyone this way?" She also said the reason she loves talking about this is because she's just "another girl out there who's dealing with the same stuff we are all dealing with."
A clip from the podcast was posted on "The Drew Barrymore Show's" TikTok page and her followers had a lot of thoughts to add about the ghosting situation, with many wanting to know who would dare ghost Barrymore. The clip got 1.7 million views in just one day, and more than 1,800 comments.

Drew Barrymore Revealed She Was On A Dating App Earlier This Month
Earlier this month during an episode of "The Drew Barrymore Show," the host asked her CBS colleagues and guests from "CBS Mornings" for their thoughts on her dating app profile photo. She told Nate Burleson and Tony Dokoupil, "I was excited to ask you guys because, you know, you're both straight men and I don't have a lot of those in my life." Barrymore also asked for Gayle King's thoughts saying, "And it's so nice to hear another woman's perspective on this."
Barrymore opening discussing that she uses a dating app surprised her audience, as well as King. After revealing her dating profile picture, King said, "That's not a bad picture." "Look, I'm an unfrozen caveman when it comes to dating, I don't understand modern dating. I've been married for a million years," Dokoupil said. "But if I saw that picture I would 100 percent [swipe] whatever the direction is." Burleson added, "I would swipe right! I'm thunder swiping right."
