Sharna Burgess playfully admitted that being a mom comes with changes. 

The professional dancer and Brian Austin Green welcomed their son, Zane, in June. Ever since his birth, the dancer has documented bits of her motherhood journey on Instagram. 

Although she loves being a mother, she admitted that there are some changes she has to make to suit this new life she has, and that includes not staying up all night to read.

Sharna Burgess Makes Fun Of Herself For Staying Awake To Read

In a recent Instagram reel, the dancer joked about how she sometimes forgets she is a mom. The professional dancer looked stunning in a brown sweatshirt and lip-synced the audio to the reel. "You know what I started thinking about the other day that’s so funny? I’m a mom," the dancer mouthed. She then laughed hysterically while holding a little teddy.

"I have a child that’s only my responsibility,” she continued and then laughed harder this time. "Holy shit," Burgess mouthed as the audio ended. This time the tv host didn’t laugh, as though realization had just hit her. 

In the caption of the video, the professional dancer admitted that some things had changed since becoming a mother, writing, " so last night I made a grave error... I started a new book and stupidly stayed awake until midnight reading it. I couldn’t put it down!! (Yes it was smut lol) ugh rookie mistake.... Acting like I didn’t have a 3-month-old that would need me at any given moment."

She further added that her days of reading all through the night have passed because she now has a son. Nevertheless, she proclaimed that she absolutely loves her son, and he is her "happy place" now.

In concluding this caption, the tv personality expressed her shock about being a mom despite the fact it’s been three months already. "But still... holy shit, I’m a mom," she joked. 

Other moms who could totally relate to her experience chimed in their thoughts in the comment section. "Welcome to motherhood, lol, teen years are so much fun," one mom raved. Another one joked, "can relate! Lol...I’m a mum!"

Sharna Burgess Celebrates Her Son’s 3 Months Milestone

Burgess' little boy turned 3 months old in September and the excited mother celebrated this milestone on Instagram. Per The Blast, the "Dancing With The Stars" alum shared a video of her little boy on Instagram alongside a beautiful caption.

The video was a compilation of different moments she had with her son. The video began with the baby’s birth and when he left the hospital. It then progressed to parts where the 37-year-old cuddled and breastfed her son. Another cute moment when the beautiful mother was playing with her son was displayed. 

One sensational part in the video was when tears fell from Burgess's eyes as she lovingly patted Zane, who lay on her chest. The video ended with Green adorably playing with his son.

In the caption of the post, the famed dancer penned a beautiful message for her son. writing, "3 months of you, 3 months of watching you grow, of being in awe of you, and of experiencing a love like I’ve never known."

She further described motherhood as "by far the coolest thing" she had ever done, and she was indeed grateful for it all. In the concluding part of the tribute, the ballroom dancer claimed that she’s the "luckiest mama in all the land." 

When her baby turned 2 months, the dancer also went all out celebrating it. She shared a cute reel on Instagram of her and her son snuggled together. Alongside the clip, the 37- year old mother revealed that her son was eight weeks old, and snuggling with him is one of her favorite moments.

The "Dancing With The Stars" Alum Officially Becomes An American Citizen

Two weeks back, the famed dancer’s dream of being an American citizen finally came true. Burgess was so excited about her latest achievement and celebrated with a touching tribute on social media. 

On Instagram, she shared a clip of her taking her swearing-in oath in the United State Department of Homeland Security. The choreographer looked beautiful in a casual tank top which she paired with jeans. 

With a hand raised up and the other hand holding her certificate and a U.S. flag, Burgess mouthed the words for her swearing-in.  In the accompanying caption, the reality dance competition judge expressed how happy she felt about this accomplishment while highlighting all the good things that have happened to her since coming to America 12 years ago.

At the concluding part of the caption, the "So You Want To Dance" alum proudly declared that she’s now an American citizen and she belongs there.
