While Los Angeles may be under lockdown right now amidst fears of spreading COVID-19, the Duggar family is still in the public spotlight. Before California's governor issued a formal order for residents to stay at home, fans spotted Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo out and about.

An Instagram dedicated to Duggar family gossip and secrets claims that one follower saw the couple drinking alcohol at a restaurant. While this is no big deal for most people, it would certainly surprise devoted Duggar fans. In fact, the Duggar family has spoken out against alcohol in the past.

According to the submitted secret, a follower saw the couple enter St. Anne's Restaurant and Bar in North Hollywood. This person claimed to be the couple's server. They said that they took Jinger's order for a sparkling wine and Jeremy's order for an ale.

While the individual who submitted the secret cannot be verified and no photo of the couple drinking exists, many followers believe the information. In fact, some say that there is evidence that some of the Duggars do drink.

While Jinger and Jeremy have never openly discussed drinking, the couple has shown that they are breaking away from the traditional Duggar rules in several ways. Jinger openly wears pants and seems to have different views about dancing than the rest of the family.

It's not a huge surprise that the couple is very different from the Duggars. After all, Jeremy was a pro soccer player and apparently dated in college. And of course, Jinger was the one Duggar daughter who specifically wanted to live in the big city.

This would not be the first nod to alcohol made by the Duggars. In 2014, the Duggar daughters admitted that they had tried alcohol. In an interview with Cosmopolitan, Jessa says that she never tried alcohol on purpose. Jill said, "We're really heavily involved in politics, and sometimes it's one of those fancy, ritzy events and they serve you what you think is punch and it's not." Jessa added that it did not taste good.

In a clip from Counting On, Joy-Anna and Austin Forsyth can also be seen confused by the sparkling water they received at a restaurant. Some fans speculated the two were concerned they'd accidentally been given alcohol.

If Jinger and Jeremy do drink alcohol, they may not be the only ones. While parents Michelle and Jim Bob may not drink, fans believe that Jill and Derick Dillard enjoy wine. In one Tweet, Derick said, "we don't believe the Bible teaches that drinking is a sin. However, it does warn against/condemn other aspects of alcohol."

Jim Bob's niece, Amy, and her husband Dillon also opened a whiskey bar. It is clear that not every member of the family has the same specific beliefs.
