Tia Mowry Appreciates Her Community For 'Outpouring Of Love' As She Starts New Chapter

Tia Mowry is embracing new beginnings, and friends and family are loving it for her as they cheer her on to move on to the next phase of her life. 

The talented actress, in an appreciative post on Instagram, thanked everyone who supported her following her divorce from her husband Cory Hardrict. Although the duo shared 14 blissful years of marriage after they tied the knot in 2008, Mowry shocked fans after revealing that they were not a couple anymore.

The "Sister, Sister" actress, in an Instagram post on Monday, shared a series of empowering snaps with her 11 million followers, accompanied by a thankful message dedicated to each person who supported her through her divorce journey.

In her words, "Every book starts with a dedication page, and this one's dedicated to you: my friends, family, and community. The outpouring of love I received from you over the last week has been so encouraging and humbling. I'm so grateful to you all. New book, First Chapter to follow. Love, Tia ❤️."

The pictures accompanying the heartwarming message featured the star posing next to a Corvette vintage car parked by a sandy hill near a lake. The first slide was a black-and-white photo that showed the actress leaning at the side of the car with her hands crossed together in a grateful position and her face cheerfully looking up at the sky as if thanking God for bringing her thus far.

While the second slide was taken clearly to reveal the "Twitches" star's outfit. She donned a stylish striped black-and-white shirt dress paired with sky-high heel stiletto shoes. Mowry also had her hair braided in long cornrows. 

Her post garnered over two hundred thousand likes and several heartfelt comments from well-wishers and even her ex-husband. Commenting on her post, Hardrict replied, writing, "♥️✨," while a fan wrote, "We're with you, Tia!! Stay strong and know God's got you covered, from head to toe. ❤️?." 

Although the "Family Reunion" star has now begun a new era, the 44-year-old filed for divorce in Los Angeles County Courts and cited "irreconcilable differences" as the basis for the split. 

Per The Blast, Mowry broke her silence via social media after the news of her divorce from Hardrict spread out to the public. In an emotional post on Instagram, coupled with a monochrome picture of the now-separated couple, she dropped a note, saying, "I have always been honest with my fans, and today is no different. I wanted to share that Cory and I have decided to go our separate ways. These decisions are never easy, and not without sadness."

The "Seventeen Again" actress continued, "We will maintain a friendship as we co-parent our beautiful children. I am grateful for all the happy times we had together and want to thank my friends, family, and fans for your love and support as we start this new chapter moving forward in our lives."

Other celebrities and supporters of the actress were quick to show their love and also encouraged Mowry with sweet and soothing words. Taraji P. Henson wrote, "Sending all of the love and support your way. God bless your family ❤️❤️❤️."

One user added, "Wishing you guys love and patience. Sending all the love," while a concerned fan wrote, "Awww man, this makes me sad. I'm praying for you and your family. Sending you so much love, Tia."

Following the news of the divorce, Tia received support from her twin sister Tamera Mowry-Housley. Not only do the iconic duo share a close bond during screen time, but they also usually look out for each other outside all of the fame and showbiz. 

Tamera, during an interview with "Today with Hoda & Jenna," protected her sister's family's private affairs when the host tried getting further information about the star's divorce matter.

Answering the inquisitive host, the "Double Wedding" actress said, "I support her. So whatever she wants, the Mowrys' have her back. I love her dearly. She is strong."

Further adding, "I know right now she just kind of just wants to, you know, just kind of process it all, take it all in and be a little private about that. As a sister, you know, I'm just going to respect that", hinting to the host to drop the topic.
