Tristan Thompson Encourages People To Take 'The Hard Route'

Tristan Thompson is ironically practicing what he preaches.

The basketballer must’ve been feeling extra  inspirational over the weekend.

On Sunday he shared a quote which read, "Take the hard route. That's the answer. When you're stuck, staring down two paths to take, make the choice easy. Go uphill. Towards resistance. Towards friction. What you want lies beyond what you hesitate. Long-term growth requires short-term discomfort.. for a very long time."

Now, this is most likely in reference to his basketball career, but it’s just SO funny that when you put it in the context of his relationship with Khloe Kardashian and his multiple cheating scandals… it aligns perfectly as well.

I mean, he definitely chose to take the hard route by cheating on his pregnant girlfriend multiple times back in 2018 and then again in 2021.

He’s had an uphill battle to fight with the media and the Kardashian-Jenner family given the sleezy reputation he set forth for himself.

Now, for the part about long-term growth taking short term discomfort… didn’t you and Khloe go to therapy after you repeatedly cheated and apologized to work on the discomfort you caused the relationship?

Oh that’s right, YOU DID!

And somehow, you still managed up in bed with women other than Khloe.

It’s looking like there won’t be much long-term growth in the committed-monogamous relationship department.

The blast recently reported on Tristan and Khloe’s engagement bombshell as well as their bombshell baby announcement.

In July, it was revealed that Koko and TT were expecting their second child together via surrogate. They have a four-year-old daughter together named True Thompson.

The couple had been planning to welcome a second child together before breaking up in December following his paternity scandal involving Maralee Nichols.

No one was expecting this news when it broke. A rep for Khloe confirmed the news in a statement.

The child was conceived one month BEFORE Tristan's paternity scandal gave birth to their son, Theo. Another fun fact nobody knew about when the baby was conceived is that Khloe and Tristan were engaged, and had been engaged for almost nine months.

Last month, it was revealed on the famous family’s reality TV show that Tristan had proposed to Khloe and she said yes.

That was a secret she hid for months from her entire family and the world.

He initially proposed in 2020, but she denied his proposal because she didn't "feel proud" to tell her family. Something obviously changed, because they eventually got engaged, but then of course things went to s**t when Nichols filed a lawsuit against TT for fathering their child and denying it.

Khloe admitted she knew better than to trust Tristan again after he literally lied, cheated and stole years of her life while they were together.

Alas, the Good American co-founder and the NBA player are both single and living their respective lives.
