2022 Academy of Country Music Songwriter of the Year, HARDY, rose to fame in 2018 with the song “Up Down,” on which he collaborated with Morgan Wallen and Florida Georgia Line.

Unfortunately, the singer-songwriter was involved in a serious tour bus crash, resulting in HARDY needing to be hospitalized for "significant injuries."

According to reports, Michael Wilson Hardy, 32, was a passenger on the tour bus when it overturned on a portion of Interstate 40 West near Nashville at the Wilson and Davidson County line at approximately 2:30 a.m. CT, Sunday, October 2. The bus was leaving Bristol after HARDY played an event alongside headliner Morgan Wallen, Lauren Alaina, Tracy Lawrence, and Ian Munsick.

The "One Beer" singer took to social media to share that he has been released from the hospital after suffering "significant injuries."

"Following last night's show, our tour bus was in an accident on our way home from Bristol," HARDY also wrote in the social media post. "There were just four of us,  including myself, on the bus, however we were all treated for significant injuries. Our friend, and bus driver needs your prayers as he is still in the hospital.  His family is with him while he is being treated and we're all pulling and praying for him."

The 32-year-old continued,  "I've been released from the hospital, but ordered by doctors to recover the next few weeks which may cost us at a couple of shows. My team and I will keep the fans updated on that as I rest in the coming days."

Since the tour bus accident just happened this weekend, it is unknown if HARDY will play his upcoming October 8 show at Arlington, Texas' Globe Life Field.
