John Legend On He & Chrissy Teigen Possibly Having More Kids: 'Cool With It'

John Legend and Chrissy Teigen, who are parents to almost three kids, could be looking to add more to the bunch!

The couple has been married for about nine years since 2013, after dating for four years. They also have a four-year-old son, Miles, and a six-year-old daughter, Luna, while expecting their third child.

The possibility of bearing more children seems to have crossed the couple's minds as Legend recently spoke about it to ET's Kevin Frazier, revealing that both parents were cool with the idea.

Fans may recall that about two years ago, Legend and Teigen suffered a heartbreaking late-term pregnancy loss that would have otherwise been their third birth. And now, they will soon be parents again but would not mind welcoming more kids after their unborn child's birth.

The 43-year-old father said of the subject with a brief laugh, "Chrissy, I think, wants more. I'm one of four, so I'm cool with it." He added, "I was like, you know, once you get into that zone, it's a lot of folks, especially when you're traveling, [it] gets difficult."

Legend further explained that it could get "logistically complicated" with four kids, considering that he and his wife go on many planes together. Even so, he is pleased to have more help with his older kids, who have each other and will soon be elder siblings to their little one, possibly next year.

According to the American singer, Luna, whom he described as "smart and mature and emotionally intelligent," has enough age gap with her brother, Miles, to where they do not have to "micromanage their every moment."

He also said of his daughter, "We're lucky she's our first child. She's very wise. I feel like she just gets things, and she doesn't have to explain things a lot." Legend believed his little girl would be able to figure out things and "move in the world," adjusting "very well."

Given the youngsters' ages, they seem to love their father's music a lot, especially the "up-tempo" songs like "Dope," "All She Wanna Do," and "Strawberry Blush" from his most recent album, "Legend."  

He felt "very lucky" that his babies were still his fans as he assumed that at a point when they grow up, they would be too cool to like his music. So, he planned on enjoying the moments while they lasted.

The Grammy Winner has a lot planned for the rest of the year and next year, with tours and live performances of his album. However, he also intends to take a break when his baby arrives.

Having another child never ceases to be a thrill to expecting parents, including Legend's beautiful wife, who recently updated her Twitter fans about a significant pregnancy milestone. She tweeted, "I finally feel the baby, so I don't need to text my doc for a daily drive-by ultrasound anymore." The Blast noted that the news came six weeks after announcing her pregnancy.

Teigen, who also steadily flaunts her baby bump on the gram, told PEOPLE that her kids knew about their unborn sibling earlier in the pregnancy and were "very excited" about the news.

She explained that since she and her husband did IVF, they knew nine days later that it had worked, meaning they were pregnant. So, they told Luna and Miles almost immediately, keeping them in the loop.

The glorious month of September marks Legend and Teigen's wedding anniversary yearly, and this year, they honored each other in the most adorable way on social media. The Blast shared that the "Green Light" vocalist marked their ninth anniversary by sharing a loving snippet on Instagram from his newly released music video, gushing over his amazing partner.

He added a similarly affectionate message in which he called the cookbook author his "Wonder Woman," who never ceased to amaze him. She uploaded the same clip on her Instagram feed, honoring her "partner, lover, and friend" with an appreciation message and wishing him a happy anniversary.

Teigen was grateful for his support all through their highs and lows, even with her shortcomings. She also expressed gratitude for growing with her and raising their kids, her "proudest gifts."
