John Legend Celebrates 9 Years Of Marriage To 'Wonder Woman' Chrissy Teigen

It’s been 9 years together for John Legend and Chrissy Teigen!

The "All of Me" singer celebrated his wife on their ninth marriage anniversary by releasing a beautiful video to his recent single "Wonder Woman.” 

As usual, the songwriter didn't fail to sing the praises of his wife as this song is dedicated to Teigen. The singer and model both posted clips of Legend’s new music video on their Instagram with cute captions. And we’re here for it!

"The Voice" judge on Instagram posted a beautiful clip of his recently released music video, praising the model. In the clip, the singer was shirtless, mouthing the beautiful lyrics to the song, while Teigen, beautiful as ever, swayed sensually.

In the accompanying caption of the post, Legend showered love on his beloved wife, writing, "I married my Wonder Woman 9 years ago today. Happy Anniversary, my love. You never cease to amaze me."

This beautiful post had his fans stringing out heart smileys in the comment section while also wishing the couple a happy anniversary.

Replying to Legend's post, the "Lip Sync Battle" host also posted on her Instagram a clip of the same music video. In her caption, she wished her partner, lover, and friend a happy Anniversary while thanking him for sticking with her despite her shortcomings and ups and downs.  She also thanked him for growing with her and for raising their kids — Luna Simone, 6, and Miles Theodore, 4 — who are her proudest gifts. 

She concluded her heartfelt post, "We have created the most wonderful life together, and all I want to do for the rest of my life is watch you make the world better, feed people, bring people joy, make more babies and kiss on your old and gray face one day ?."

To this, Legend replied with the crying face and Heart eyes emoji. No doubt the couple is actually adorable! Many fans were impressed with Teigen's tribute to her man. One fan wrote, "That's the kind of caption I love to read ! ❤️ #lovewins," while another added, "Love is shining brightly in both you & John’s captions!? happy anniversary, my loves?✨."

Everything about the “Wonder Woman” music video screams beautiful. From the scenery to the lyrics and the sight of his family, who were the main stars.

The 12-time Grammy award singer released a romantic music video that featured his pregnant wife flaunting her burgeoning baby bump and their children, Luna and Miles having a great time.

The video contained scenes of the couple being intimate and also cute scenes of their children. Sensationally, the video opens with the singer leaning shirtless against a wall singing soulfully the lyrics of the song, while flashes of Teigen swaying sensually in a meadow come up. 

"When I'm lost, when I'm low. How do you always know? Oh, you're right there to save me,"  the "La La Land" actor sings

In one part of the video, the beautiful mother lay by the poolside hugging her kids while Legend, in the pool, looked on adorably. Another scene has Teigen in a blue slip dress, rubbing her pregnant belly lovingly.

As the video ends, Legend kissed his wife sweetly on her belly. The music video was directed by filmmaker Nabil Elderkin who actually introduced the couple and  also shot the video for the hit song "All of Me."

Teigen's feature in the 'Wonder Woman' video adds to the number of times she has featured in the songwriters' videos.

The release of the music video comes shortly after the couple announced their fourth pregnancy. In August, The Blast reported that shared the big news with photos of herself in a crop top and lace panties, revealing the baby bump. 

She captioned the photos, "the last few years have been a blur of emotions, to say the least, but joy has filled our home and hearts again. 1 billion shots later (in the leg lately, as u can see!) we have another on the way."

Although the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model had stalled announcing the fourth pregnancy, she finally made the announcement after hearing the heartbeat of their unborn child and overcoming her nervousness.

The news of Teigen's fourth pregnancy is a breath of fresh air given their past struggles. September 2020 brought along sad news as the couple, unfortunately, lost their son, Jack. Jack passed away at birth, and the devastating incident left the couple in a state of despair.
