Danielle Ruhl is getting ready to sing a different note!
After news broke pertaining to the "Love Is Blind" star's decision to file for divorce from her husband Nick Thompson, whom she met and fell in love with on the Netflix reality show, last month, Ruhl has been extremely transparent about the effect of divorce has had on her mental health.
The 29-year-old has devoted a lot of her social media activity to showcasing how she has really felt while dealing with a massive heartbreak in the public eye.
Ruhl's decision to reveal the extremely personal component of her life has not been a recent one. She has openly discussed her experiences with mental health both past and present, especially since rising to fame earlier this winter as a "Love Is Blind" cast member.

The Blast has frequently kept up with Ruhl's transparent mental health discussions on her social media, primarily on Instagram.
Despite making the courageous decision to openly discuss her feelings and the many instances of positive feedback she's received from fans, her decision hasn't been met without criticism.
In an article from February shortly after season two debuted on Netflix, we followed Ruhl's honest Instagram post where she responded to critics and attempted to provide some clarity regarding a panic attack she had on the show; Thompson struggled with responding to Ruhl's needs in a productive way.
"One thing that is being inaccurately speculated about is the panic attack I had in Mexico," she wrote in the post and elaborated that she had recalled a traumatic experience to Thompson to the best of her ability in the moment.
Ruhl then gave further insight into the inspiration for the panic attack.
"While I was lying there sick, I started to get in my own head and wondered whether I had shared too much too soon, and I started to relive an event that I had repressed for so long. This caused me to have a panic attack and I went into the closet so that no one could see me in such a public environment," she wrote.
More recently she has shared that she frequently cries over her divorce on a daily basis, and she has also discussed how she will "never be perfect" and also took accountability for past mistakes.
Writing Her Way To Healing: How Ruhl Incorporates Journaling Into Her Mental Health Journey

Earlier this afternoon, Ruhl provided her Instagram followers with a glimpse into a previously publicly unseen side to her mental health journey; she vulnerably not only revealed that she frequently relies on the practice of keeping a journal, but she has also been dabbing in songwriting for a long time!
"I have connected with so many of you who relate to my story and experiences while riding the mental health wave," she wrote in the caption of her Instagram post, "I previously shared lyrics and a voice note I wrote when I was 15 regarding giving up and why it shouldn't be an option. It is something I often re-listen to when I am experiencing extreme emotions."
Ruhl went on to reveal, "Because of this, I have decided to share some of the excerpts of my journal. I will be releasing three songs that are in relation to my past and current mental health struggles that I wrote from the ages of 15-29. I will be releasing 'The Way Down' first, as a lot of you messaged me that you relate to the lyrics..."
A snippet of "The Way Down" can be heard in the second slide of Ruhl's post! Her sharing of the vulnerable lyrics will be an ongoing process for the reality star.
She also revealed that fans will hear the full version of the song later this week, and will go on to share "A few more throughout the month!"
