Kaia Gerber Snacks On Oranges In Unbuttoned Leather Pants With Her Legs Spread

Kaia Gerber will always knock the camera dead. The 18-year-old model and daughter to Cindy Crawford did it on the Versace and YSL runways just recently – the same applied to the teen's photoshoot accompanying her i-D magazine feature. While Kaia only shared a handful of snaps from the shoot she herself admitted was channeling 1999 movie "Girl, Interrupted," other images from it are floating around.

The photo showed Kaia pared-down and snapped in a gritty setting, backed by an old TV set. The brunette was seated on a striped couch in earthy tones, positioned in a relaxed way with a hint of sex appeal as she posed with her legs spread. The model was rocking an edgy black leather pair of pants with metal studding – an unbuttoned finish to the pants and its waistband belt upped the ante as Kaia also modeled an off-the-shoulder white shirt.

Food always adds appeal. Kaia had been photographed holding orange segments to her mouth, with the peel forming a messy pile next to her.

Kaia has recently made headlines for challenging her model status – she models, but doesn't want to be labeled as a "model." Speaking to i-D, Kaia revealed that she was hesitant to get into modeling.

"I never did. As a child I never thought I looked like my mom, I never really imagined it was something I could do. My mom never pushed it on me. Then, as I started to get older, people began approaching me to start modelling and I was very sceptical. It’s hard enough growing up, as a woman, with all those changes you go through as a teenager… to do that in the public eye is really scary. You need to be really confident," she said.

Kaia's career may be a headline-maker, but her recent split from SNL star Pete Davidson has done the same. The 26-year-old ex to Ariana Grande dated Kaia from October 2019 to mid-January, recently opening up on the breakup.

“We were dating for a few months, and she’s very young,” Pete said, adding:

“I’m f---ing going through a lot, and it was before I was going to rehab. She shouldn’t have to worry about some dude that just has issues, she should be enjoying her work and all that other s--t."

Kaia has a way to go before reaching a supermodel status on a par with Kendall Jenner or Gigi Hadid, although 2018 did see Kaia make headlines for actually having higher social media engagement than either model – more likes and comments are left to her social media.

Kaia is now the face of Marc Jacobs. Fashion Week saw her walk for mega-brands including Miu Miu and Valentino, with her Instagram following also climbing. Kaia has 5.4 million followers. Her account is followed by celebrities including Bella Thorne, Hailey Bieber, Vanessa Hudgens, and Kendall Jenner, plus Sofia Richie.
