Last night, football fans across the nation were left shocked, scared, and speechless when they saw Buffalo Bills cornerback Dane Jackson suffer one of the worst injuries a football player could face -- a neck injury.
Luckily, today, it seems the football player is doing okay.
Buffalo Bills Dane Jackson Suffers Neck Injury
Last night during the early NFL Monday Night Football game, the Buffalo Bills were taking on the Tennessee Titans. However, right before halftime, the stadium, and fans watching from home, went into shock and concern when they witnessed Bills cornerback Dane Jackson suffer a neck injury.
Jackson was hurt while making a tackle. The 25-year-old football player was accidentally hit by his own teammate, forcing his body to bend backward awkwardly, including his neck. He stayed down on the ground for several minutes as trainers and doctors tended to him.
You can see a video of the injury incident in the Tweet below, but be warned, it is not easy to watch.

TNG shared, "Buffalo Bills cornerback Dane Jackson taken off field in ambulance after injury. Pray for him๐."
The player laid still on the field for several minutes as trainers, coaches, players, and doctors went over and tended to him. Within a few minutes, an ambulance was seen coming out of the tunnel and onto the field to transport Jackson to Erie County Medical Center -- a local hospital.
"He will be getting a CT scan and an x-ray," the team said in a statement late Monday night. We also learned before the Bills game ended, that Jackson had full movement in extremities, which was a great sign considering how scary the injury was.
Dane Jackson Released From Hospital
Bills and NFL fans everywhere are relieved this morning as NFL Network's Mike Garafolo has reported that the Bills cornerback has been released from the hospital and "all indications are he has avoided major injury."
Garafolo added Dane Jackson actually walked out of the hospital on his own.

Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills went on to defeat the Tennessee Titans, 41-7. Next week, the Buffalo Bills will fly to Florida to take on Tua Tagovailoa and the Miami Dolphins. The Bills and Dolphins are in the same division -- the AFC East. The game will be an interesting one to watch as both teams are currently 2-0.
Dane Jackson was picked by the Buffalo Bills in the 7th round of the 2020 NFL Draft. There is no word on if he will be able to play alongside his Bills teammates at this time.
