Tom Brady & Gisele Bündchen Have 'Heated Arguments' About Comeback From Retirement

Per reports, the couple isn't seeing eye-to-eye about Brady's decision to come out of his short-lived retirement and return to the NFL. However, in a shocking twist, the following month, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers player announced he was leaving retirement. "I have realized my place is still on the field and not in the stands. That time will come. But it’s not now. I love my teammates, and I love my supportive family. Without them, none of this is possible. I’m coming back for my 23rd season in Tampa," he wrote in his Instagram announcement.

During both milestones, Bündchen proudly and publicly supported her husband's move. Hence, it seemed all was well with the couple of 13 years. However, last week, a source revealed to Page Six that the pair are fighting over the issue.

"Tom and Gisele are in a fight right now," the source revealed, noting that Brady and Bündchen are no strangers to arguments about his decision to un-retire. Another insider mentioned, "There’s been trouble in the marriage over his decision to un-retire. Gisele has always been the one with the kids. They had agreed he would retire to focus on the family, then he changed his mind."

Per the sources, the "Gisele & The Green Team" star, who was described as "hot-headed," left the family's Tampa, Florida home for Costa Rica.

The insider continued, "It seems that Gisele gets mad and says things like she’s leaving him, but in the past, they’ve always made up. But maybe this time it is more serious." Despite things being intense between the pair, the source notes that Brady is focused on "trying to be super dad" to his kids.

The California native and the Brazilian model share two kids, son Benjamin, 14, and daughter, Vivian, 9. Brady also has 15-year-old Jack from his relationship with his ex, Bridget Moynahan.

Brady had previously hinted that things weren't too good at home during a press conference. The NFL player missed 11 days of training with the Buccaneers and, while giving a reason for his absence, said, "It’s all personal, you know. Everyone has different situations they’re dealing with, and we all have unique challenges to our lives. I’m 45 years old, man. There’s a lot of s— going on."

Also, way back in 2020, during an interview with Howard Stern, the player opened up about a letter "The Devil Wears Prada" star wrote to him about his neglect of his family over football.

"She didn't feel like I was doing my part for the family," Brady said in the interview. "She felt like I would play football all season, and she would take care of the house...That was a big part of our marriage that I had to check myself. Because she's like, 'I have goals and dreams, too ... You better start taking care of things at the house."

Neither Brady nor Bündchen has publicly commented on the reports.
