According to sources, Sandler has been using a cane for the last few weeks, as he recently underwent hip surgery around Labor Day.

Luckily, it seems this was a scheduled surgery and was not caused by a sudden injury or medical emergency. The "Grown Ups" actor is currently between projects, so undergoing the hip surgery now made the most sense.

He is on his way to a speedy recovery as the "Big Daddy" actor is expected to be fully healed before his upcoming comedy tour kicks off in late October.
