Love The TikTok Tune 'It's Corn?' You Can Now Stream It For A 'Corntastic' Time!

Everyone sing along! "It's corn! A big lump with knobs. It has the juice (it has the juice). Can't imagine a more beautiful thing."

Anyone who's scrolled their FYP section on TikTok lately can surely sing the lyrics to the catchy "It's Corn" song featuring everyone's favorite "Corn Kid," otherwise known as Tariq. After a video of Julian Shapiro-Barnum, host of Recess Therapy, interviewing Tariq went viral, a short "corntastic" song started circulating the internet getting stuck in everyone's heads. This kid is on a roll with a second interview that features the adorable, enthusiastic "Corn Kid" creating a corn dance, then a third interview, and now a full version of the singable tune is available to stream.

Recess Therapy recently posted the information about the full-length song on their Instagram page captioned, "Hey folks! We're so excited to announce that, in partnership with Tariq, his family and @gregorybrothers -- we've launched "It's Corn", the official song of this crazy corntastic moment we all created together! All proceeds are being split with Tariq and his family. So, please support and give it a listen! It’s streaming everywhere??" Comments on the post told a story of how everyone is following Tariq's corn journey and loving every minute of it.

In the most recent interview with Tariq, he explains what corn tastes like and shares more of his "corntastic" wisdom.  "What do you want to say to adults and tell them how they can find joy?" Tariq was asked, to which he replied, "Well sometimes adults can find joy from like just trying to pretend when they were also just a kid." Tariq is clearly wise beyond his years about corn and beyond.

The recently released streamable song is a 3-minute-long version of the clip everyone's been singing along to created by The Gregory Brothers, the comedy team behind the @schmoyoho TikTok page where you likely first heard the fun vegetable-themed tune. It seems that everyone on TikTok has used the song clip in their own corn-related videos, so you can't escape it (but why would you want to?) This is clearly the song of the summer, and just what 2022 needed.

When Tariq was asked, "What is a corntastic day?" he responded, "Well, I made it up and it's like a pun about corn. Have a corntastic day."
