'Vanderpump Rules' Star Jax Taylor Offers An Update On His Marriage To Brittany Cartwright

Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright may be facing rumors of potential relationship turmoil but according to a recent interview, the Vanderpump Rules couple is going strong as they prepare to start a family with one another nearly one year after their June 2019 wedding.
While chatting with Bravo's The Daily Dish on February 12, Taylor opened up about his relationship with Cartwright and said that when it comes to the most important part, he believes "being honest, being faithful" and being patient have made all the difference.

After revealing that the first year of marriage has definitely not been the hardest, as some have suggested, Taylor revealed what has changed between him and Cartwright in the months since they wed.
"Being married means… You know, everyone else is going to say, 'You’re first year is always your hardest,' and this and that. It’s actually not. Being married is awesome. It’s the same thing as dating to me," he said. "I think the only thing that’s changed in my life is I’m responsible for somebody now. You know, it’s my wife."

"It’s been a great year so far," Taylor said.
Although Taylor has been spotted without his wedding ring on a number of occasions, he told The Daily Dish that he and Cartwright have been doing well since getting married. and are the best of friends.
"It’s been amazing. We’ve had no hiccups, and everyone said, 'The first year is going to be hard.' Especially being on TV, your relationship is magnified, but it really hasn’t. Brittany is my best friend," he said.

According to Taylor, he fell in love with Cartwright because he felt he could be himself around her and loved her funny and goofy sides.
"She can go out and be in a barn and shovel horse sh*t. And then, she can go and dress like she’s going to the Golden Globes and look beautiful. She can get dirty, she can be funny, she can be goofy, she can laugh. We can just be fun around each other. Like I said, she’s my best friend," he added.

As the eighth season of Vanderpump Rules continues, fans will be seeing more and more of the wedding preparation that went into Taylor and Cartwright's big day last summer before their ceremony airs on the show.
As fans may have seen last year, a number of Taylor and Cartwright's Vanderpump Rules co-stars, including Tom Sandoval, Tom Schwartz, Lala Kent, Stassi Schroeder, Ariana Madix, Scheana Marie, Katie Maloney, were included in their bridal party and several others, including Lisa Vanderpump, attended the wedding as guests.
