Vanderpump Rules stars Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright have been through some ups and downs in their relationship. Fans of the show will remember that Jax has not only cheated on Brittany, but he has also gotten into trouble for lying and stealing. Many viewers thought they’d never see Jax settle down with one girl due to his playboy tendencies. However, this ladies-man claims to have turned over a new leaf, and, on season 7 of their reality show, he asked Brittany to marry him. The two co-stars got married in June 2019, while filming the currently airing season of Vanderpump Rules. The two also recently bought a house together and have been planning to start a family.
But is it all an act? Despite the happy image the two reality stars have been touting on television, troubling rumors have started to circulate. In fact, Jax has been caught without his wedding ring on multiple occasions. According to a source close to the couple, Jax and Brittany’s relationship has been on rocky roads since their wedding. According to Radar Online, the source also called the couple “unhappy.” However, Radar also reports that a representative from the show dismissed these rumors, chalking up the missing ring to the fact that Jax works out so often.
Jax and Brittany’s wedding will be televised on the currently airing season of Vanderpump Rules. So, fans of the show will get to see the whole process unfold. Who knows what other drama could be in store for the turbulent couple? Viewers recently witnessed Brittany’s bachelorette weekend in Miami. After one party, the Southern gal broke down in tears over a sign that read “Don’t do it, Brittany.” Brittany had always wanted a magical fairytale marriage ceremony, but it’s possible that her wedding to Jax wasn’t all she hoped it would be.
Besides this breakdown at her bachelorette party, Jax has recently come forward to say he regrets inviting castmate Tom Sandoval to be a part of his wedding party. Jax and Tom have had a tumultuous relationship over the years, and Jax even slept with Tom’s girlfriend in an early season of the show. The two were able to mend their relationship then, but this time their bromance might be over for good. Sources also say that the couple had originally intended to get married in Malibu, but instead chose to get married in Brittany’s home state of Kentucky.
Although Brittany and Jax have been vocal about their desires to start a family together, they recently revealed that they will wait until after the wedding of Stassi Schroeder and Beau Clarke. Stassi and Beau are fellow Vanderpump Rules castmates, and Stassi even dated Jax during the first season of the reality series. Stassi and Beau are set to be married in Rome, so if Brittany got pregnant before the wedding, she probably wouldn’t be able to attend. Stassi has said that her wedding will be televised, and she’s grateful to Jax and Brittany for planning around her wedding.
You can catch Jax, Brittany, Tom, and Stassi on Season 8 of Vanderpump Rules airing every Tuesday night on Bravo.
