On Saturday, August 27, Nittolo posted a carousel of pictures on Instagram in honor of her late fiancé. The black-and-white images featured the "GoodFellas" star's fiancée getting a tattoo. For the outing, the 47-year-old wore a black spaghetti-strap top with jeans while her hair fell gracefully down her shoulders in soft waves.

In the first slide, the media personality looked comfortable sitting in a chair at the tattoo shop. The image showed the artist beaming at his client as he got ready to ink her wrist. The brunette did not seem fazed by the needle as this was not her first rodeo. Nittolo's sleeveless top gave fans a good view of the tattoo on her right arm.

Another image captured the California native with a sweet smile as she posed in front of various tattoo samples hanging on a wall. The final slide in the photo series showed a close-up of the final product, which appeared to be a feather. This design has a deeper meaning, as Nittolo noted it was a tribute to her late fiancé.

"Yesterday marked 3 months. It only seemed appropriate to do something meaningful that will forever be with me," the 47-year-old captioned the post. The "Field of Dreams" star's fiancée also gave a special shout out to the people responsible for making her tribute a success.

The list included Mark Mahoneys, the legendary tattoo artist often regarded as the "founding father" of black and gray art with a single needle. After praising the artist for his excellent skills, the beautiful brunette thanked her friend Barbara Patrick for a wonderful day and her son, Chaz Nittolo, for capturing her tattoo session.

In response to her heartwarming post, fans and friends of the "Shades of Blue" star's fiancée flooded the comment section with supportive messages. The A-list included the Iranian-American actress Sepideh Moafi, Isabela Merced from "Dora and the Lost City of Gold," and social media influencer Emilia Merkell.

Mahoneys also showed his appreciation by dropping several emojis. However, the sweetest comment came from a woman who best understood Nittolo's feelings of loss. Kelly Rizzo, the wife of the deceased comedian Bob Saget, expressed her support through her food blogger account, "Eat Travel Rock."

The blonde beauty wrote: "I'll go with you anytime to get another one!!" This could mean the "Miami Models" star plans to honor her late husband with new body art. On the other hand, Rizzo's promise may only be a friendly gesture. Perhaps to show Nittolo that she wishes to be there for her during this difficult time.
