It seems that citizens of Atalanta are going to sleep comfortably now following a recent update regarding the series of rash crimes, including home invasions in select areas across the city. According to TMZ's law enforcement sources, three males – all 24-year-olds – who go by the names Jeremy Caldwell, Jalen Huff, and Terryion Anderson, have been arrested in Miami in connection to the crimes.

The three men, who are allegedly responsible for the armed robberies, burglaries, and breaking into homes, chose celebrity-owned when the owners were away at the time, per Sandy Springs PD. Going by this, Carey has sent her gratitude to the law enforcement agents who ensured that they followed due process towards getting justice served.

A source noted that the five-octave vocal range singer was "so grateful for the detectives who arrived on the scene immediately." Fans of the singer would recall that the mother-of-two's home was broken into in July during her time off with her boyfriend Bryan Tanaka and her children Monroe Cannon and Moroccan Scott Cannon.

The Grammy Award-winning singer's home, which boasts a king-sized pool, a tennis court, nine bedrooms, and 13 bathrooms, is located on a 16,000-square-foot mansion on four acres of land. The Blast shared that the "Hero" singer, who was on a tour-like vacation to the Hamptons and Italy with her family, kept mum on the news of her home burglary.

Just moments before the home invasion is said to have occurred, Carey posted pics of her vacation on her Instagram page, alerting the suspects to her being away from home. Although authorities in charge have not divulged any details concerning property loss, it was confirmed that the burglary took place and that the investigation is still ongoing.

The "All I Want For Christmas Is You" Singer Landed In Hot Waters Over Trademark Plans

The "Girls Trip" star, who shot to fame following the release of her debut album in 1990, faced some backlash from other female artists due to a name controversy. Trouble started after Carey revealed her plans to trademark the name "Queen of Christmas" – a title she earned after she released the hit single, "All I want for Christmas" and continued to rake in big bucks for.

The song has become so well-loved that her fans consider it a classic Christmas song that gets better and better with every holiday season that passes. After topping the US billboard 100 chart for over 25 years after its release, "All I Want For Christmas Is You" has landed the accolade of being the most widely sold holiday song by a female musician.

Unfortunately, other holiday singers seemed unimpressed by Carey's intention to be referred to exclusively as the "Queen of Christmas" or "Christmas Princess" despite the song's accolades. The Blast shared that singers like Elizabeth Chan and Darlene Love are two major songstresses who have publicly registered their displeasure about Carey's plan.

The famous hitmakers believe that the "Always Be My Baby" songstress was trying to monopolize the game, and they have no problem taking her to court to fight the looming trademark. In the words of Chan:

"Christmas has come way before any of us on earth, and hopefully will be around way after any of us on earth. And I feel very strongly that no one person should hold onto anything around Christmas or monopolize it in the way that Mariah seeks to in perpetuity."

The "Ghost of Christmas Past" singer added that she felt Carey was in the wrong as Christmas did not belong to just one person. Carey is yet to respond publicly to Chan and Love's criticism.
